November 2 to 11, 2017

Bonn, Germany

Information about the activities surrounding the UN climate conference COP23 in Bonn. With an action map of all events happening and a tool to find sleeping places during the COP.

In November 2017 the UN Climate Change Conference is taking place in Bonn. As civil society we need to be present during these days to stand up for climate justice and against environmental destruction.

The example of Fiji, the country presiding over this year’s conference, shows the urgent need for a break in global climate politics. As a small island nation, Fiji is already threatened by the consequences of climate chaos. Rising sea levels endanger its coastal areas and those who live there. To avoid catastrophic climate change, global emissions need to be immediately and radically reduced. A key step is the phasing out of all fossil fuels – coal, petrol and gas. Here Germany, as the world’s biggest producers of lignite, needs to show some responsibility.

This website gives an overview about the actions and events planned surrounding the COP23 in Bonn. Here you find information about transport, accommodation and local logistics.

All engaged and interested people are invited to take part in these days: add your own event in the online calendarsupport us as a volunteer or just participate in the actions.
