  • Why wait until the 25th? It is very likely that Iran will retaliate sooner than that date and if past behavior predicts future behavior, the U.S. will not pause to think before (over)reacting. And then what do we anti-war activists do? Go out and march in the streets chanting “Bad USA! Bad!” while the bombs are falling on Iranian heads? Really?

I apologize for my sarcasm. I realize people are doing what they can. And, I am quite frustrated knowing that it will not accomplish anything other than making participants feel better knowing they did ‘something’.

We need to make it much BIGGER this time, and that takes time to organize.

  • That is understandable but in the meantime the world keeps on turning and in our world, that means more bloodshed. It is also much more difficult to halt a war with bombs falling and body parts flying than it is during a period of verbal fencing.

Will there be one in Portland, Oregon?

  • Dan Dettmann

Trump’s liable to hit them with a tactical nuke by then. >:(
    That’s almost three weeks away.
You see how fast this came down.

  • Dan Dettmann

    I sure hope so!
I live in Longview, Washington and would much rather make the shorter drive to Portland than Seattle.
Perhaps there will be one in Olympia too!

  • Dan Dettmann

    What site is that?

  • Yes things are moving very rapidly. The Iranians have announced today that they have 13 strategies under consideration (the details of which they are of course not disclosing).

Regarding the tactical nuke option – a) I really wish we at least had a two-man rule; as we don’t have that, we can hope that someone(s) would put their career on the line and not carry out the order – faint hope as I’m betting those on the business end of the order rarely know the circumstances behind the order so with nerves on fire, they do their duty and launch b) Iran’s is highly unlikely to respond in a manner that would give a hint of justification for launching a nuke of any kind at them.

Instead of wars Trump, Netanyahu and the fattest Iranian Mullah should oil themselves and only in gym shorts wrestle each other till only one is standing.

  • Go ahead there will be one if you take the initiative.
