Scorching report on poverty finds ‘systematic attack on welfare program’ will leave millions deprived of food and healthcare

    It was not $1.5 trillion in tax cuts. It is $5 trillion in permanent tax cuts for the rich (plus $.5 trillion in temporary tax cuts for workers) paid for with $4 trillion in tax increases on high-tax-state workers.
    The $1.5 trillion is just the new debt to pay for the difference.
    The claim that this was a $1.5 trillion tax cut is propaganda. It has little to do with reality.
