International Day of Action

April 19: Stand Against The Threat Of Imperialist Aggression On Cuba

From the International Committee for Peace, Justice, and Dignity, we call on men and women of good will to join the actions that will take place around the world starting April 19, in the Year of Fidel’s Centennial and the 65th anniversary of the victory at Girón, imperialism’s first defeat in Latin America. The damage caused by the U.S. blockade of Cuba over the past 64 years is internationally recognized; it has been condemned by the overwhelming majority of countries — with the exception of Israel — on 33 occasions at the UN General Assembly.

Solidarity With Iran And Palestine: All Out On March 13

On February 28, 2026, US and Israeli forces launched joint military strikes against Iran, a criminal and reckless act of war following years of sanctions and hybrid warfare aimed at regime change. This display of US arrogance and aggression aims at imposing Western dominance and preventing the region’s resurgence. It comes during bad-faith negotiations by the US over manufactured “threats,” the largest US military buildup in the region since 2003, and follows two and a half years of genocide in Gaza, escalating violence in the West Bank, regime change in Syria, and assaults on Yemen and Lebanon.

Dockworkers In Mediterranean Ports Announce Coordinated Antiwar Action

Workers in more than 20 Mediterranean ports are preparing for an international day of action on February 6 to oppose the growing militarization of transport infrastructure, as well as port management’s and governments’ complicity in the genocide in Gaza. “If we don’t take this step, all our other demands will be crushed under war,” Francesco Staccioli of the Italian union Unione Sindacale di Base (USB) warned during a launch event on Tuesday. The mobilization aims to prevent arms shipments, reject rearmament, and oppose the impact of a war economy on workers’ rights and social security systems. Notably, the day of action is being launched to “ensure that European and Mediterranean ports are places of peace, free from any involvement in war,” according to an earlier announcement.

Global Day Of Solidarity With Venezuela Against US Interventionism

The Global Day of Solidarity with Venezuela and for Peace in Latin America and the Caribbean was held in locations around the world. On Saturday, August 30, mass organizations, political parties, and social movements from various countries united under the slogan “Venezuela is not a threat, Venezuela is a hope” to express their support for Venezuela and peace in Latin America. The solidarity event comes in response to the recent interventionist actions and threats by the United States Government against the Venezuelan people and government, which include the deployment of military vessels in the Caribbean Sea as an excuse for intervention and destabilization, as well as the increase of a bounty on President Nicolás Maduro’s head, whom the US falsely accuses of association with drug trafficking.

Actions In 70 US Cities: ‘Hands Off Iran And West Asia! Free Palestine!’

Although there is a temporary “ceasefire” in the U.S./Israeli effort to destroy Iran, many groups internationally are determined to stay mobilized. The horrific genocide in Palestine, both in Gaza and the West Bank, continues, as do plots against Iran.  There were more than 65 actions around the world listed on the website of the United National Antiwar Coalition, based on a call from Global Resistance for a week of actions June 21 to 28. Internationally actions were held in the Philippines, Bangladesh, Japan, Norway, Denmark, Germany, India, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Sweden. Across Canada there were multiple actions, from Vancouver to Hamilton, Ontario.  In the U.S. the week of actions stretched coast to coast.

June 28 International Day Of Action: ‘No War With Iran’

We call on all peoples of conscience throughout the world to take to the streets on June 28, 2025 and march against the expansion of the Zionist-US aggression from Palestine through Lebanon, Syria and Yemen to Iran. For 20 months the people of Palestine have been steadfast against the collective west’s genocide of their people and theft of their land. In the face of a firm resistance, the US and the Zionists had no choice but to expand the war into Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and now Iran. Iran has supported the regional resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and Syria for decades and is under attack because of its support for regional liberation from the clutches of US imperialist domination and Zionist colonialism.

Condemning Repression Of Sumoud Convoy, Global March To Gaza

La Via Campesina, representing millions of peasants, landless workers, rural women, and grassroots movements in over 80 countries, declares a state of political and moral alert in response to the catastrophic regional escalation triggered by Israel’s war on Gaza and the broader Palestinian people. In the early hours of today, the Israeli occupation launched large-scale airstrikes on Iran — a dangerous development that transforms what was already a genocidal campaign in Palestine into a regional war with unforeseeable consequences. This marks a new phase in a long-standing colonial project, now fueled by imperialist impunity, aimed not only at crushing Palestinian resistance but also at destabilizing the entire region through military aggression, collective punishment, and political domination.
