War Crimes Case Re-Opened

The Metropolitan Police Service has reversed its decision to close a war crimes probe into U.K. nationals who fought for Israel amid the Gaza genocide, it can be revealed. The 240-page referral was first submitted by the Public Interest Law Centre (PILC) and the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) in August 2025. It alleged that ten U.K. nationals —including dual citizens — had committed war crimes and crimes against humanity while fighting for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) in Gaza. Allegations against those soldiers included international crimes such as “wilful killing, extermination, attacking civilians, and deportation or forcible transfer of population.”

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Mental Health Crisis Deepens

According to a July 29, 2026 article in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, two women Israeli soldiers have died by suicide in the past two days. The Israeli military that has conducted the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, the destruction of the infrastructure of Gaza, the ethnic cleansing and destruction of homes, farms and thousands of year-old olive orchards in West Bank, imprisoned 10,000 Palestinians, including many children, and the destruction of southern Lebanon, as well as the attack on Iran, continues to show the effects of its inhumane and criminal actions on its soldiers.

Congress Is Pushing To Integrate The Israeli And US Militaries

Last month, Responsible Statecraft’s Ben Freeman reported on a provision buried in the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that seeks to deepen connections between the United States and Israeli militaries. Section 224, the “United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative”, would synchronize efforts between the the two countries “to expand and accelerate bilateral defense technology research, development, testing, evaluation, integration, and industrial cooperation.” “The result could well be a U.S. political system even more susceptible to the whims of an Israeli government that seemingly has no qualms about drawing the U.S. into military conflicts in the Middle East,” wrote Freeman.

Global Sumud Flotilla Submits Accounts Of iOF Crimes To The ICC

The Hague, Netherlands — A delegation of legal representatives, victims and medical personnel from the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) submitted an official communication to the International Criminal Court (ICC) accusing israeli military commanders and top political leaders of committing war crimes, crimes against humanity, torture and conduct relevant to the execution of the crime of genocide. The crimes detailed in the communication arose from the unlawful and violent interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla’s vessels on 29-30 April 2026 and on 18-19 May 2026 which involved serious human rights and humanitarian law violations against unarmed civilian volunteers by israeli Occupation Forces (iOF).

Last Ten Ships Of The 2026 Gaza Flotilla Attacked By Israeli Commandos

By 8pm local time on May 19, 2026, the last ten boats of the 2026 Gaza flotilla had been illegally seized by the Israeli military in international water approximately 118 nautical miles from Gaza. The last boat to be seized of the 54 boat flotilla was the Gaza Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC)’s boat named “Lina.” The flotilla boats had been sailing toward Gaza in the largest civilian flotilla in the history of support for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank attempting to break the illegal Israeli naval blockade of Gaza.  The “Lina” has a remarkable history.

Flotilla Boats Continue Their Effort To Reach Gaza Despite Attacks

The situation on the sea is changing rapidly as flotilla vessels continue to try to reach Gaza and end the siege after the Israeli attack on the convoy yesterday 250 miles from the shore. Early this morning, Ann Wright reported: Ten boats, including the Gaza Freedom Flotilla Coalition’s boat “Lina” are still sailing toward Gaza in the largest civilian flotilla in the history of support for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank attempting to break the illegal Israeli naval blockade of Gaza. Nine U.S. citizens are on the ten boats still underway to Gaza!!

Flotilla Boats Again Under Attack By Israeli Forces

At this moment Israeli military forces are illegally attacking and boarding the sailboats of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) and the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) in international waters east of Cyprus. As this article is being written, the heavily armed Israeli commandos are seizing control of one boat after another and detaining its participants in a large prison ship. 25 U.S. citizens are among the over 500 participants from 45 countries on the nearly 60 boats of the 2026 flotilla to Gaza. Flotilla organizers are reaching out with an URGENT REQUEST for solidarity and action.

israeli Warships Encircle, Intercepting Civilians On Global Sumud Flotilla

Mediterranean Sea — The Global Sumud Flotilla is currently surrounded and under active interception by israeli naval warships in international waters, approximately 250 nautical miles from the coast of Gaza. This military encirclement marks the commencement of another illegal, high-seas aggression four days after 54 civilian vessels lifted anchor from Marmaris to establish a humanitarian corridor and break israel’s illegal siege of Gaza. This active naval confrontation is a direct continuation of the lawless israeli military assault launched just two weeks ago, off the coast of Crete.

Thousands Of Western Nationals Serve In Israel’s Army

The Israeli military has published official data for the first time detailing how many of its soldiers hold foreign citizenship alongside Israeli nationality, revealing a large presence of dual-national personnel within its ranks. Figures obtained by Declassified through a freedom of information request made in March 2025 and filed by the NGO Hatzlacha show that 50,632 serving soldiers hold at least one additional citizenship. Personnel carrying passports from the United States, France, Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom and Ukraine form the largest groups, accounting for most of the total.

Former IDF Soldiers Challenge The Normalization Of The Occupation

A tour group stood on Hebron’s Al-Shuhada Street, listening as a former Israel Defense Forces soldier pointed out, on a map, the nine roads in the West Bank city that Palestinians are restricted or prohibited from accessing.  Once a bustling market hub, Al-Shuhada Street was now quiet and devoid of pedestrians, aside from a nearby guard post from which three or four soldiers were coming and going, watching the group.  The visitors were taking part in a guided tour run by Breaking the Silence, or BTS, an organization founded by former IDF soldiers.

How Mass Haredi Opposition Could Reshape Israel

The massive rally of the Haredi community in Israel on Thursday was not merely another episode in the long-running conflict between secular and religious Israelis.  It revealed something deeper: a tectonic shift driven by dramatic demographic change, internal fractures within the Haredi community, and the unravelling of a political bargain that for decades linked the state’s ruling coalitions to Haredi parties. For decades, the political architecture that sustained Haredi political power rested on a simple transactional logic: in return for predictable Knesset support, Haredi parties secured budgets, institutional autonomy, and protections for religious life.  Under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s long tenure, that arrangement - fed by growing state resources and generous allocations to Haredi education and social systems - became entrenched.

The Israeli Occupation Forces Attacked Our Ship Conscience

The voyage went relatively well up until the interception. We sailed with the 1000 Madleens to Gaza flotilla so we spent some time catching up to them, waiting for them and then sailing with them. I met a couple of their people while we were in prison and at the hotel after we were released. They were good folks - and highly skilled sailors as well.  The weather on the passage was mixed. We had a decent blow a couple of days in and seas were running a meter to a meter and a half. The medical staff used almost all of our seasickness medication during the week we were at sea but we never ran out. Fortunately, things calmed down for the last three days of the voyage. Generally, spirits ran high among the participants and I never felt like we were worried about the Israelis doing anything to us at all.

Gaza: Airstrikes, Explosive Vehicles, Bulldozers Cause ‘Insane’ Destruction

Ahead of its planned full-scale invasion of Gaza City, the Israeli army is causing widespread destruction in the Strip’s largest urban center, forcing residents to evacuate ahead of its publicly declared start date: October 7. Recent reports from eyewitnesses and the Gaza Civil Defense show that the Israeli army has been using retrofitted armored personnel carriers (APCs) that are sent into dense population centers, including neighborhoods and displacement centers, before they are remotely detonated. The attacks continue alongside an extensive bulldozing operation in the city and constant aerial bombardment. Between August 12 and August 18, the Israeli army destroyed over 400 buildings in the Zaytoun neighborhood and launched a limited ground incursion at its edges.

Israel Launches Ground Raids In Southwest Syria

Israeli ground troops have carried out multiple ground raids across southwestern Syria over the weekend, including overnight raids in the Quneitra Governorate overnight Saturday, which led to the capture of multiple “suspects” who have not been conclusively identified and appear to simply be local Syrians. On Friday, Israeli troops attacked farmers near Jubata al-Khashab, first opening fire on them while they were actively farming their own land then confiscating a tractor in the area because the tractor was trying to haul away trees within the area which Israeli military bulldozers had recently knocked down. Three Syrians were captured in that incident.

Family Of Palestinian-American Man Killed By Settlers Demands US Action

Friday, July 11, marked a profound bereavement for the residents of Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiyah village northeast of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank, after a group of illegal Israeli settlers treacherously murdered two young men of the village. Mohammad Shalabi (23), and Sayfollah Musallet (20) were in Mount Al-Baten, located between Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiyah and a nearby village called Sinjil, when they were attacked by settlers and killed. A resident of Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiyah told Peoples Dispatch that illegal Israeli settlers began to vandalize farms belonging to families of the village in Mount Al-Baten over a month ago.
