The action included three banners on the Irene Hixon Whitney Bridge, which connects Loring Park to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden over Interstate-94. The banners read, “MN money funds AI weapons: divest MN from Palantir,” “Divest Minnesota from apartheid Israel! No tax $$$ for occupation” and “Divest MN from Palantir! Israel and Palantir out of Palestine!” Organizers explained how Palantir has a long, dark history, made worse under the Trump administration.

Launched on August 5 by the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) and the Center for International Corporate Tax Accountability and Research (CICTAR), the report identifies “an estimated €12 million (approximately USD 13.8 million) ‘tax gap’ between what Palantir pays in Europe and what they would have paid if they didn’t shift profits to the United States.”

Denver, CO – On July 26, Coloradans gathered outside Denver’s Union Station in a rally against software development company Palantir, which is complicit with apartheid Israel. Palantir develops artificial intelligence used both by ICE to facilitate mass arrests and deportations and by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), with programs like “Lavender” and “Where’s Daddy” used to target and slaughter innocent Palestinian civilians and families by identifying targets, tracking them back to their homes, and deploying bombs. The protesters took aim at the Tabor Center, a skyscraper located in downtown Denver which leases out the 15th floor to Palantir to use as its headquarters.
