Freedom For President Maduro: Ninth Consecutive Brooklyn Rally

Demonstrators convened for the ninth consecutive night to express their unwavering support for the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, the First Combatant Cilia Flores. The protest, held despite low temperatures, called for their immediate liberation, as reported by teleSUR correspondent Henry Camelo from the United States. Participants reiterated their conviction that the detention constitutes a kidnapping, asserting that President Nicolas Maduro and Cilia Flores must be freed without delay. They condemned the United States for using pretexts to invade Venezuela, ultimately aiming to seize its natural resources, including oil and mineral wealth.

US Bombs Venezuela, Whereabouts Of President Maduro Unknown

Explosions were reported at key military bases, civilian areas, and other sites across the Venezuelan capital of Caracas and surrounding areas in the early hours of Saturday, January 3. The Venezuelan government said in an official statement that the attack was perpetrated by the United States and constitutes a “grave military aggression” against “Venezuelan territory and population”. In a post on his Truth Social platform after the attack, Trump said that the Venezuelan president had been removed from the country by the US, with more details to come in a press conference in Mar-a-Lago at 11 am.

Maduro Indicted On ‘Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy’ Charges In US Court

The US military abducted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores overnight on 3 January, following heavy airstrikes that struck the heart of Caracas and multiple other areas across the country. The illegal aggression marked a sharp escalation in Washington’s pressure campaign against the Venezuelan government, reportedly targeting key military sites in Caracas, including the Forte Tona complex, La Carlota barracks, Aigeroti airport, and Cuartel de la Montaña, where former president Hugo Chavez's remains lie.

Trump Commands Venezuela’s Heavens Closed

US President Trump ordered the airspace above and surrounding Venezuela “closed in its entirety” on November 29. Yet the US has as much legal and moral authority to shutter the skies over Venezuela as the Venezuelans have to close the putting greens at Mar-a-Lago. Yes, that’s ridiculous – but not any more so than Washington’s phony pretext of drug interdiction for their deadly regime-change offensive against Venezuela. To date, the Yankee military has murdered over 80 people in alleged “drug boats” in the southern Caribbean and eastern Pacific but has yet to confiscate a single milligram of narcotics from Venezuela. The Venezuelan authorities, in contrast, have seized 64 tons of cocaine this year that were being transited through their country and have done so without killing a single person.

Venezuela To Receive UN Assistance For Migrants Illegally Imprisoned In El Salvador

The United Nations secretary general and the UN high commissioner for human rights “expressed their commitment to activating all the available mechanisms to re-establish as soon as possible the flagrantly violated rights of the Venezuelan migrants” abducted in El Salvador. This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Venezuela via a statement issued on Friday, March 28. This comes after Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro held a telephone conversation with UN Secretary General António Guterres two days ago about the issue of the Venezuelan migrants deported from the US and illegally incarcerated in a maximum-security prison in El Salvador.
