US Military Invasion

Testimony Of A Cuban Combatant After US Attack On Venezuela

Cuba honored 32 soldiers who fell in combat with the US army on January 3 in Venezuela, carrying out security activities legally agreed upon with the Caracas government. Many of the Cubans killed were part of the personal security detail of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who was kidnapped after the attack and transferred to the United States. Hundreds of thousands of Cubans attended the ceremonies commemorating the fallen in what the Cuban government described as a new attack against the Revolution. But not all Cubans who fought against US forces died.

He was a 32-year-old cryptographer and a dedicated family man who has left behind a wife and three children. Belly of the Beast journalist Liz Oliva Fernández interviewed Claudia Rafaela, a close friend of Yunio’s, who talked about his death and the life he was building.

Arreaza argues the operation violated international law, the US Constitution, and head-of-state immunity, calling it “barbaric.” He insists Maduro and Flores were in a secure location and were defended by guards who “gave their lives,” but that US technological superiority made resistance ineffective.

Venezuela’s Interior Minister Cabello Updates Death Toll Of US Attacks

Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello has announced that the death toll from the US empire’s military attack against Venezuela on Saturday has risen to 100 people, including civilians and military personnel. Cabello explained during a special broadcast of his program Con el Mazo Dando this Wednesday, January 7, that although it was not scheduled to start his program this week, “the current circumstances force it,” following the illegal attack perpetrated by the US targeting four states in the country that concluded with the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
