Our resistance to the Trans-Pacific Partnership unites us in solidarity to stop transnational corporations from profiting with impunity. Trade should put people and the planet before profits.

Calling all who are concerned about corporate power, the environment, climate change, worker rights, education, internet freedom, predatory banks, health, food safety, clean air and water, militarism and wars, fair trade…
The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) will reverse decades of work for protection of the environment and people. The White House is trying to pass this agreement in secrecy and without Congressional oversight using Fast Track.
Fast track means the text of the TPP will remain classified so that we will not know the extent of harm being done to us.
Fast track means Congress will not be able to hold hearings to debate the effect of the TPP on our laws, our health and the environment.
We are going to stop Fast Track – and it’s going to be fun! But we need your help. Put down what you are doing for a few weeks and join together for a campaign against transnational corporate power that we can win and that will move us all forward.
Join us in Washington, DC for the Stop Fast Track Action Camp, and /or after that, come for a day or more to participate in the actions.

Here is the schedule:
Sept. 21 and 22 – Stop Fast Track Action Camp with Bill Moyer of the Backbone Campaign and Steph Cascadia of Rising Tide. We will learn about strategy for direct action, making creative visuals to convey our message, street theater, banner making and drops and blockades. There is something for everyone to do. Lodging is included. See full schedule below.
Sept. 23 and 24 – two days of creative actions to bring attention to the TPP using Washington, DC as our stage.
Sept. 25 and onward until the vote on Fast Track in Congress – join the Fair Trade Brigade! We will be in the halls of Congress every day they are in session to shine our light on the secret TPP and let members know the whole country is watching to see if they stand for transparency and democracy or secrecy and plutocracy. Materials and training will be provided.
