From Earth Day to May Day we’re going to shut down business as usual in Washington, DC. From April 22-24 young people, inspired by the youth climate strike movement, are taking the lead with demonstrations and mobilizations in Washington. Then, starting on April 27th, we’re going to #ShutDownDC with disruptive actions each day leading up to May Day.
Each day of action is focusing on a theme that lifts up the causes and consequences of the climate crisis and is being led by organizers whose work, and whose communities, are directly connected with those themes.
Join us this Thursday, February 20th at 7pm for a round table video call to hear from the youth, local and front line organizers leading the fight for climate justice.
