Every year in Houston, the CEOs of the world’s most polluting oil and gas companies gather for a massive industry conference called CERA Week, where they conspire on new ways to increase their profits while continuing to harm our communities with their toxic products.
We are witnessing in real time the results of unchecked corporate greed from oil and gas CEOs. We are seeing the destruction of raging wildfires, powerful hurricanes, and extreme flooding impacting communities across our country and the globe, caused by the continued burning of fossil fuels. And we are seeing these fossil fuel billionaires gain unchecked control of our government through Trump’s promotion of “drill, baby, drill.”
We must fight back for our right to clean air, clean water, safe homes, and a healthy environment. We will not allow our lives and the lives of our future generations to continue being destroyed so that oil and gas billionaires can get even richer.
That’s why we are coming together on March 9th & 10th in Houston, TX to Resist CERAWeek. We will take action to demonstrate our opposition to the oil and gas CEOs profiting from our destruction and build power together through movement-building training, workshops, and events.
