Nancy Pelosi has declared herself on the side of war with Syria. By Sitting-In on her offices coast to coast, we — the vast majority of this country that will not tolerate another war– will declare unequivocally that we are against any form of U.S. military intervention with Syria.

Those who do not live near the D/M/V or Bay areas may act in solidarity by sitting-in on the offices of the nearest congresspersons who has not come out publicly against U.S. military intervention in Syria. If they cannot physically sit-in, please call Pelosi’s offices (numbers above) as others are sitting in throughout the day, in addition to calling their local congresspeople (http://www.govtrack.us/).
Those outside the U.S. may act in solidarity by demanding their government disavow U.S. military action against Syria.
We also firmly condemn the ongoing Syrian Civil War. We call for immediate cessation of hostilities and a global humanitarian effort.
*A Sit-In is, by definition, a peaceful form of civil disobedience.

Congresista Nancy Pelosi se ha declarado su apoyo de la guerra entre los EEUU y Siria. Sentándonos para la paz en frente de las oficinas de Pelosi, nosotros — la mayoría de la personas en los EEUU que no tolerarán otra guerra — declararemos claramente que estamos en contra de cualquier forma de campaña militar de los EEUU en Siria.
