Colonialism didn’t just happen. It’s still happening. Indigenous peoples weren’t just here hundreds of years ago. They’re still here.

Jen Deerinwater joins us to discuss the colonial paradigm and how folks in the US perpetuate anti-native behaviors. As a two-spirit indigenous organizer and journalist, her unique insight and experience offers a decolonizing lens in a steadfastly colonized country. From meaningfully including native voices in our work to reading up on the histories and cultures of the peoples whose land we live on, we can decolonize and ultimately crush colonialism.
