Black Protester Shoved, Tackled, Punched at Trump Rally as Donald Yells, ‘Get Him the Hell Out of Here!’
Trump’s rabid fan base acts on his rhetoric.
Birmingham, AL – CNN political reporter Jeremy Diamond posted a video on his Twitter account this afternoon of a black protestor being “shoved, tackled, punched & kicked” at a Donald Trump rally in Birmingham, Alabama.
When the Black Lives Matter protestor disrupted the rally, he was met with jeers and ultimately violence, as Trump yelled, “Get him the hell out of here,” a command his supporters appear to have taken to heart. According to Diamond, the protestor’s chant was also met with “All Lives Matter” counter-chants from some of the rally-goers before they began their assault.
Ironically-named Trump campaign spokesperson, Hope Hicks, told Diamond that the campaign did not “condone such behavior.” At the same rally, Trump called on more surveillance of Muslims and said, “Political correctness is killing this country.”
