“You can always be too Black, but you can never be too White.” – Paul Mooney

abmit-webWhat happens when a millennial Black man/activist/artist/father/radio producer talks to and about White folks unfiltered onstage? Join an Angry Black Man In Therapy for an evening of raw truth, humor and hope in a riveting performance.

Kymone Freeman is an award winning playwright staging his third production and first performance on stage. He was recently a leading participant on the first US Delegation to Cuba since the announcement regarding the thawing of US/Cuban relations that was sponsored by Code Pink. He is a frequent guest on the Roland Martin Show on TV and is a founding member of #DCFerguson that addresses police violence.

#ABMIT “Whites Only” is a one man show that builds on the #BlackLivesMatters movement by offering a seldom seen perspective to many who have no point of reference politically or culturally beyond the “official police reports.”

Be the first to witness the production before it hits the theatre stage. March 5 , Shirlington | March 12, 5th & K March 19, Brookland | March 26 , 14th & V | April 4, Hyattsville 8 pm – 10 pm each day
