The Psychology Of Poverty

From a reader:

I volunteer at a social shelter that takes care of the homeless and families that cannot support themselves.  We’ve been seeing an increasing number of people coming to us for help and I think it’s one of the issues that are not covered enough in our media.

These stats that I came across the other day show just how much people struggle with poverty nowadays. It also turns out that those living below the poverty line are three times more likely to develop mental illness than those living above the poverty line. .

So if you think your readers will find it interesting or if you would like to raise some awareness about this cause, here’s a link to the stats: http://www.bestmswprograms.com/mental-health/
