Last night (May 3),  it became evident to the Embassy Protection Collective that the Secret Service and State Department Police

Allies of Venezuela Defend Washington, DC Embassy

The People’s Embassy Protection Collective at the Venezuela Embassy grew to as many as 150 people as more activists arrived from around the country. They continue to stand firm against a possible Secret Service intrusion to take over the building. Meanwhile, outside the embassy Secret Service wait in police vehicles, while several officers have been standing watch. Organizers have strung giant banners from the top floors of the embassy. One banner reads, “Stop The US Coup,” and another reads, “No War For Oil,” while another banner was painted with a giant image of the eyes of former President Chavez looking towards the north.

All Out This Weekend: People’s Mobilization To Protect The Venezuelan Embassy

We are calling for a full mobilization of all people of conscience to join us on Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Venezuelan embassy in Washington, D.C. We urgently request that all who can stay overnight on Saturday and/or all or part of Sunday. The powerful mobilization of people across the country who came together at the Venezuelan embassy in Washington, D.C. Wednesday and Thursday has prevented the take over of the embassy by the Trump administration and their fraudulent puppet government. People power can stop the illegal actions of the Trump administration.  Join this mobilization, share this message and urge others to join us at the embassy in Georgetown in Washington, DC, 1099 20th Street, NW.

Venezuelan Embassy Stands Strong; Activist-Tenants Vow To Resist Illegal Eviction

People from all over the United States came to Washington, D.C. and joined together last night at the Venezuelan Embassy in a powerful demonstration of solidarity with the people of Venezuela. While banners were hung from outside the windows of the Embassy, people held a night of political education and tactical discussions. The ongoing Embassy Protection Collective continues to prevent the U.S. government from illegally seizing the Embassy of Venezuela in Washington, D.C.

Arresting Members Of The Embassy Protection Collective Would Be Unlawful

We have told the State Department that if they enter the Venezuelan Embassy they are violating international law and if they arrest members of the Collective for trespass or unlawful entry these will be unlawful arrests. Members of the Collective are in the embassy with the permission of the elected government of Venezuela.  In two messages to the State Department today, the Collective explained that we are not violating the law and if there are unlawful arrests we will pursue legal action to hold people responsible for ordering arrests or making arrests. We are prepared for the Secret Service and DC police to come to the embassy tomorrow and are not intimidated by their threats. We know that we are not violating any laws.

Venezuela: Embassy Protection Collective ‘The Next Two Days Are Crucial’

The next two days will be crucial for the protection of the Venezuelan embassy in Washington, DC. The Embassy Protection Collective is prepared to stay at the embassy for the foreseeable future, for as long as it takes to protect the sovereignty of Venezuela from a US coup by the United States with a fraudulent puppet government that the entire world is a farce -- unelected and illegal under Venezuelan law. We stand with the Venezuelan government and their legitimately elected president, Nicolas Maduro.  People can support the Collective by joining inside or outside of the embassy. A strong show of public support will prevent the takeover of the embassy. There are many levels of risk people can take to show their solidarity.

Solidarity With Venezuela Now! Protect The Embassy

We are writing to you from inside the Venezuelan embassy in Washington, DC where we are taking action against a US coup of the independent and sovereign Bolivarian Republican of Venezuela. The Embassy Protection Collective (Colectivos Por La Paz) is here with the permission of the Venezuelan government to show our solidarity with the Venezuelan people. The upcoming week will be a critical one, as we explain below. The opposition, with its illegal, pretend government, say they will attempt to take over the embassy this week after the diplomats leave on Wednesday, as ordered by the US State Department.

Labeling The Iranian Revolutionary Guard ‘Terrorists’ Is A Step Toward War

A “Twitter-stamp” by Secretary of State Pompeo made it official. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is now designated as a foreign terrorist organization. “We must help the people of Iran get back their freedom” is a diplomatic tweet of an alternative reality. ISIS, Boko Haram, and Iran, all in one place. This move is not a measured foreign policy decision that should be up for debate between more diplomacy-minded versus more hawkish policy-makers. This move is a step toward war that should be condemned by all sides.

Venezuela Prepared To Defend The Revolution Against US Imperialism

While Trump is threatening Venezuela with military intervention, Venezuelans are not waiting to organize themselves to be ready to confront any threats that they may face, both from inside and outside the country. The country not only has 200,000 armed forces, but it also has a civilian People’s Militia of 2 million people who are organized, armed and trained to defend the revolution. Venezuela wants peace but will not allow the United States to dominate their country again. To make this video, Redfish got exclusive access to the People's Militia in Venezuela to hear from those prepared to defend their revolution.

Why Was Guaido Barred from Holding Public Office for 15 Years?

The imposter fraud Guaido is having a difficult time organizing people to support his coup against President Maduro. Our colleague, Eva K. Bartlett, who joined us on a recent peace delegation in Venezuela and has remained behind to continue to report on activities there. She has been trying to go to a Guaido opposition protest and yesterday went to several locations where they were supposed to take place. She was unable to find any opposition of significance and no Guaido. Venezuela's Comptroller General Elvis Amoroso announced Thursday that the opposition politician Juan Guaido has been barred from holding public office for 15 years over irregularities in his financial activities.

No War On Venezuela, March 30, 1 PM At The White House

This week, Foreign Ministers of NATO Nations are coming to Washington, DC. On their agenda is war and military action against Venezuela.  Antiwar activists will be there in force to show them the people oppose military action and regime change against Venezuela. Ex-UN Human Rights Expert Blasts ‘Manipulation’ on Venezuela: ‘We Are Swimming in an Ocean of Lies’

Former United Nations human rights expert and top legal scholar has harshly criticized the international body’s reporting on Venezuela, calling it “unprofessional,” politicized, and unfairly slanted in favor of the country’s right-wing opposition. “We are swimming in an ocean of lies,” explained Alfred de Zayas. “When I went to Venezuela, I expected to find a humanitarian crisis.” “I was predetermined to find a humanitarian crisis,” he continued. “I walked the streets, I spoke to people of all kinds, and that was not the case. “That means I had been manipulated. I had been lied to.

US And Puppet Guaido Implicated In Terrorism Plot

The arrest of Guaido’s ‘chief of staff,’ Roberto Marrero, earlier in the week was tied to the terrorism plans described in the article below. They report eight to ten teams of assassins, brought from Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador that were trained in Colombia to carry out terrorist acts in Venezuela. They planned selective assassinations of high-profile figures of the Venezuelan State, and attacks on the country's public services. Half these groups had entered the country others were blocked by the shutdown of the borders.

The US Treasury has imposed sanctions on Venezuela's Economic and Social Development Bank and on four other institutions affiliated with it, calling in its statement for the release of Juan Guaido's Chief of Staff Roberto Marrero. Venezuelan authorities arrested the chief of staff to ‘interim president’ Juan Guaido on Thursday during a raid on a "terrorist cell" that planned attacks on the country's officials. The government also released images of two rifles allegedly seized by the Venezuelan Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN) during the raid on Marrero’s house.
