Allies of Venezuela Defend Washington, DC Embassy
The People’s Embassy Protection Collective at the Venezuela Embassy grew to as many as 150 people as more activists arrived from around the country. They continue to stand firm against a possible Secret Service intrusion to take over the building. Meanwhile, outside the embassy Secret Service wait in police vehicles, while several officers have been standing watch. Organizers have strung giant banners from the top floors of the embassy. One banner reads, “Stop The US Coup,” and another reads, “No War For Oil,” while another banner was painted with a giant image of the eyes of former President Chavez looking towards the north.

Venezuelan Embassy Stands Strong; Activist-Tenants Vow To Resist Illegal Eviction
People from all over the United States came to Washington, D.C. and joined together last night at the Venezuelan Embassy in a powerful demonstration of solidarity with the people of Venezuela. While banners were hung from outside the windows of the Embassy, people held a night of political education and tactical discussions. The ongoing Embassy Protection Collective continues to prevent the U.S. government from illegally seizing the Embassy of Venezuela in Washington, D.C.
Arresting Members Of The Embassy Protection Collective Would Be Unlawful
We have told the State Department that if they enter the Venezuelan Embassy they are violating international law and if they arrest members of the Collective for trespass or unlawful entry these will be unlawful arrests. Members of the Collective are in the embassy with the permission of the elected government of Venezuela.
In two messages to the State Department today, the Collective explained that we are not violating the law and if there are unlawful arrests we will pursue legal action to hold people responsible for ordering arrests or making arrests. We are prepared for the Secret Service and DC police to come to the embassy tomorrow and are not intimidated by their threats. We know that we are not violating any laws.
Venezuela: Embassy Protection Collective ‘The Next Two Days Are Crucial’
The next two days will be crucial for the protection of the Venezuelan embassy in Washington, DC. The Embassy Protection Collective is prepared to stay at the embassy for the foreseeable future, for as long as it takes to protect the sovereignty of Venezuela from a US coup by the United States with a fraudulent puppet government that the entire world is a farce -- unelected and illegal under Venezuelan law. Why Was Guaido Barred from Holding Public Office for 15 Years?

US Sanctions Venezuelan Development Bank, Response To Arrest Of Guaido’s ‘Terrorist’ Aide
The US Treasury has imposed sanctions on Venezuela's Economic and Social Development Bank and on four other institutions affiliated with it, calling in its statement for the release of Juan Guaido's Chief of Staff Roberto Marrero. Venezuelan authorities arrested the chief of staff to ‘interim president’ Juan Guaido on Thursday during a raid on a "terrorist cell" that planned attacks on the country's officials. The government also released images of two rifles allegedly seized by the Venezuelan Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN) during the raid on Marrero’s house.

Intelligence services have dismantled a "terrorist cell" that planned to attack and destabilize Venezuela, Minister of Interior Justice and Peace Nestor Reverol announced Thursday.
Roberto Marrero Borgas, alleged "chief of staff" for self-proclaimed "interim president" Juan Guaido, was arrested in the police operation, the official said.
"The citizen Marrero Borgas is directly responsible for the organization of these criminal groups. A batch of weapons of war, cash in foreign currency was seized from him during a search conducted at his residence."
