Leaked Documents: U.S. Framed Syria in Chemical Weapons Attack

On August 21st, 2013 chemical weapons were used the Syrian conflict yet again. Western powers, the U.S. and France in particular enthusiastically didn't hesitate for even a moment to take advantage of the tragedy, decrying it as a crime against humanity and using it as a springboard to announce their preparations for military strikes against the Syrian government. Make no mistake this was a crime against humanity… but the gas was NOT used by the Syrian government, it was used by the NATO backed rebels. In this video we're going to show you definitive evidence to support this claim and we're going explain the U.S. and NATO's motive for committing such an atrocity. The leaked documents that we are going to be presenting are available for you to download yourself. You'll find a in a link in the description to that download and you'll also find links to the mainstream articles we used in our research.

Video: Money Is Not Safe In The Big Banks

People think that money is safe in the big banks because the FDIC will protect the deposits. This assumption is not based on the facts. This video will show official government documents that describe the plans for confiscating deposits when, (not if) a big bank fails. Individual, as well as public funds from municipal, university, county deposits are at serious risk. YOUR taxpayer money will disappear in the next crisis! Public officials in charge of taxpayer funds need to be aware of the dangers here. The loss of taxpayer funds and the inability to meet payrolls and obligations will certainly prompt a response that will both immediate and forceful.

Video: Is President Obama Lying To Us?

"Since at least the Iraq War if not before, the media and political class typically goes out of its way to avoid declaring a lie a lie. Simply put, from "we know where (the WMDs) are" to Obama's "actually abusing" declaration, seemingly deliberately inaccurate statements are rarely ever framed as outright lies. Even when such statements come from those with vested interests in hiding the truth, words and phrases like "misstated," "wrong," "least untruthful" and "misspoke" are trotted out. These words and phrases now comprise a whole Washington vocabulary crafted specifically to avoid the L word. That's because once the L word comes out, it means the official in question is deliberately misleading the public - and that is rightly considered an abhorrent act in a democracy." -- David Sirota, Salon.com

Video: Workers ROC the Restaurant Industry

Do you know what's in your food? Many low-wage restaurant workers earn so little they cannot afford to take off work. Hence they work when sick, cooking and serving your food. In an industry that, according to the Labor Department, is more than 95 percent unorganized, Restaurant Opportunities Centers United (ROC) has been winning money settlements for workers, improving conditions in trendsetting restaurants, and making a policy impact large enough to render one of the nation’s most powerful corporate lobbies visibly nervous.

Video: Israeli Abuses of Palestinians By Illegal Settlers

This video is a shameful display of the way Israel and the illegal settlers in the occupied territories behave. Every person of Jewish faith should be rising up and protesting the behavior of extremists in Israel who undermine the civil rights heritage of so many Jews. The mistreatment of Palestinians, and the ongoing theft of their land is a crime for which some day, I hope, the Israelis will pay a price. The Jaber family of al-Baqa'a is being harrased and attacked by the Zionist settlers of Kiryat Arba. This incident was filmed by Hudaina and Atta Jaber's daughter through the house window on July 12th, 2013. Her father, who arrived at the scene as the settlers were rampaging around the house, had fainted and was given water by the ITF soldiers who would not apprehend the settlers a moment earlier.

Building Clean Energy Project In Path Of KXL

The Keystone XL pipeline is proposed to run through hundreds of Nebraska homes, farms and ranches, crossing the delicate Sandhills and putting the critical Ogallala Aquifer at risk. Nebraskans are standing up for their future by literally building the clean energy future they need. They are declaring their independence from dirty energy and challenging Big Oil to show their true stripes by constructing a wind turbine and solar-powered barn immediately in the path of the proposed pipeline, and using creative tactics to resist pipeline construction before it begins. If President Obama approves Keystone XL, he'll then have to tear down clean and locally-produced energy to make way for dirty and foreign tarsands.

SWAT Team Used To Attack Organic Farm In Texas

At around seven thirty last Friday morning, inhabitants of The Garden of Eden, a small Intentional Community based on Sustainability, were awakened by a SWAT raid conducted by the City of Arlington for suspicion of being a full fledged marijuana growth and trafficking operation. Ultimately only a single arrest was made based on unrelated outstanding traffic violations, a handful of citations were given for city code violations, and zero drug related violations were found. The entire operation lasted about 10 hours and involved many dozens of city officials, SWAT team, police officers and code compliance employees, and numerous official vehicles including dozens of police cars and several specialized vehicular equipment that was involved in the “abatement” operation. Witnesses say that there were helicopters and unmanned flying drones circling the property in the days prior to the raid that are presumed to have been a part of the intelligence gathering. The combined expenses for the raid itself and the collection of information leading up to the fruitless raid are estimated in the tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars.

Nuns Against Fracking: The ‘Sisters Of Loretto’ Oppose Pipeline

The 200-year-old Sisters of Loretto has refused to allow energy companies to survey their 780 acres in order to build a natural gas pipeline that would connect fracking operations in Pennsylvania with an existing pipeline that runs from Kentucky to the Gulf Coast. "This has the potential for danger and for pollution of this very precious resource," said Sister Maria Visse in a video report by the environmental news project Climate Desk, gesturing at the lush Kentucky hills where she her fellow nuns live. Visse has been a member of the Sisters of Loretto since 1955.

Movie: The 99% Occupy Everywhere

VIDEO: James Yee Speaks About Arrest While Chaplain At Guantanamo

After being officially recognized twice for outstanding performance, Captain Yee was arrested and imprisoned in a Naval brig for 76 days in September 2003 while being falsely accused of spying, espionage, and aiding the alleged Taliban and Al-Qaeda prisoners. He was held in solitary confinement and subjected to the same sensory deprivation techniques that were being used against the prisoners in Cuba that he had been ministering to. After months of government investigation, all criminal charges were dropped. With his record wiped clean, Chaplain Yee was reinstated to full duty at Fort Lewis, Washington. He tendered his resignation from the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge on January 7, 2005. Upon separation he was awarded with a second Army Commendation medal for "exceptionally meritorious service."

Protest Against The Taser Killing Of Israel Hernandez

We Are Change covers the emotionally-intense protests for Israel Hernandez--the Miami teen who was killed when tased by cops, who reportedly laughed and "high-fived" each other after doing so. Friends, family, neighbors, and strangers arrived at the rally, amassing in an undeniably potent group that attracted the attention of onlookers, drivers, and Miami Beach Police, who watched cautiously the entire time behind shady sunglasses, or atop nearby rooftops.

Videos: Dream Defenders End Vigil at Florida Capitol

After staging a sit-in outside Gov. Rick Scott's office at the Florida Capitol for the past 31 days, the Dream Defenders are ending their round-the-clock vigil. They say they've accomplished many of the goals that they set for themselves when they arrived here on July 16. They organized the sit-in because they were upset with the not guilty verdict in the trial of George Zimmerman. The group called for a special legislative session focusing on Florida's controversial Stand Your Ground law, racial profiling by police, and zero-tolerance school policies. They convinced House Speaker Will Weather to schedule a hearing on Stand Your Ground this fall. They plan to meet with leaders at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to talk about racial profiling. And they say they have a commitment from state education leaders to talk about policy adjustments to juvenile justice rules.

Manning Statement At Sentencing, Difficult Childhood

It was a very emotional day at the Bradley Manning sentencing hearing. After hearing from two expert witnesses on Manning's psychiatric history, his sister, Casey Major, testified describing a very difficult childhood for Manning with two alcoholic parents she raised Manning (she is 11 years older than he is). Manning's sister, Casey Major, provided the court with an insight of their difficult upbringing with two alcoholic parents. Major, 36, said that while her father, Brian, was a "functional alcoholic", who could get up to work after drinking, her mother, Susan, had a more serious problem. She said her mother drank hard liquor from around lunchtime, and would often continue through the night until she had passed out. Asked how often she was drunk, Major replied: "At least every day."
