Francesca Albanese Names Over 60 States Complicit In Gaza Genocide

The UN special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, told the General Assembly on 28 October that 63 countries, including key western and Arab states, have fueled or were complicit in “Israel’s genocidal machinery” in Gaza. Speaking remotely from the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation in Cape Town, Albanese presented her 24-page report, ‘Gaza Genocide: A Collective Crime,’ which she said documents how states armed, financed, and politically protected Tel Aviv as Gaza’s population was “bombed, starved, and erased” for over two years. Her findings place the US at the center of Israel’s war economy, accounting for two-thirds of its weapons imports and providing diplomatic cover through seven UN Security Council vetoes.

The Right To Resist Is The Right Of The People!

Just days after the Zionist entity of “Israel” signed the ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, numerous violations were already reported, including the firing on civilians, the blocking of the full amount of daily aid convoys promised, and failure to withdraw soldiers from all areas stipulated in the ceasefire. After two years of outright genocide and over 75 years of an openly racist settler colonial regime enacting apartheid law, there is little to be surprised about regarding “Israel’s” behavior. The question is not why "Israel" has repeatedly violated its own agreements and international law, as that is to be expected from a rogue entity committing genocide.

Hi-Tech Holocaust: How Microsoft Aids The Gaza Genocide

Israel’s genocide is being powered by Microsoft. From creating a massive digital dragnet, aiding in the production of A.I.-generated kill lists, hiring hundreds of Israeli spies to run its internal affairs, and suppressing figures opposing the slaughter, the Seattle-based tech corporation has played a key role in the violence. MintPress has detailed the deep collaboration between the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Amazon, Google, TikTok, Apple, Palantir, and Oracle, but Microsoft’s relationship with the government and armed forces of Israel is potentially the closest, leading then-CEO Steve Ballmer to state that “Microsoft is as much an Israeli company as an American company.”

Four Militias Backed By Israel, Arab States Plan ‘Project New Gaza’

Israel is backing four militias as part of a project to oust Hamas and create a “new Gaza,” according to a report released by Sky News on 25 October. These armed groups – which throughout the war have been engaged in hostilities against Hamas on behalf of Israel – are currently operating along the Yellow Line of Washington’s ceasefire map, in Israeli-held territory. "We have an official project - me, [Yasser] Abu Shabab, [Rami] Khalas, and [Ashraf] al Mansi," militia leader Hossam al-Astal, a Palestinian Bedouin with links to the Palestinian Authority (PA), told Sky News. "We are all for ‘The New Gaza.’ Soon we will achieve full control of the Gaza Strip and will gather under one umbrella,” he added. According to footage which was geolocated by Sky News, the headquarters of Astal’s militia in south Gaza’s Khan Yunis lies on a military road less than 700 meters from an Israeli army outpost.

Gaza Tribunal: A Historic Verdict In The Shadow Of Testimony

Inside the quiet stone walls of Istanbul University, a heavy silence settled. The members of the Gaza Tribunal gathered behind closed doors for one final deliberation. Led by Professor Richard Falk, former United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, the session wasn’t just a meeting — it was history unfolding in real time. After months of hearings across cities like London and Sarajevo, the Tribunal has now delivered its final judgment — a declaration that cuts through diplomatic noise and lands squarely in the conscience of the world. “Starvation as a Weapon” According to the Gaza Tribunal’s Final Report,  Israel’s systematic deprivation of food, medicine, and humanitarian access constitutes the weaponization of starvation — a tool of mass punishment used against an entire civilian population.

Trump’s Push To Uphold Gaza Ceasefire Is Creating A Political Crisis In Israel

The succession of U.S. officials arriving in Tel Aviv over the week has fueled consternation in Israeli political circles as Washington ups the pressure on Israel to stick to U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza ceasefire plan. Israeli political circles have bristled at having to bend to the American President’s will, as opposition use the opportunity to lambast Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for turning Israel into a “vassal” of the United States. Virtually all of Trump’s inner circle has made the rounds in Tel Aviv throughout the past week, including U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, Vice President JD Vance, and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

A Tale Of Two Ceasefires: Gaza And DRC

Vice President JD Vance is in Israel, reportedly to see if he can salvage the ceasefire that began on October 10. Hamas has given Israel all 20 living hostages, and turned over the bodies of 13 of 28 dead ones. It says that retrieving the rest is going slowly because of the destruction it has to work around. Israeli forces have largely withdrawn to the negotiated yellow line, which means they still control 58% of Gaza by land area, and according to news reports, they are regularly killing Palestinians who get too close to that yellow line. The number of aid trucks that has entered Gaza since the ceasefire took effect is 85% lower than the negotiated cap, and Israel is still bombing Gaza, claiming it’s responding to lingering armed attacks.

This Is The Moment To Scale Up Mobilizations For Palestine

It was a great honor to join the “Conscience”, a large ship with 92 participants. We were mainly medics and journalists because we wanted to emphasize that these are the two professions most targeted during the genocide in Gaza. We wanted to show solidarity with our colleagues there. Almost all participants had direct links with people in Gaza through humanitarian work or Palestinian NGOs like Awda Association. Several doctors on board had worked in Gaza during the genocide, and many journalists were in touch with Palestinian citizen journalists and local news agencies. We wanted to reach Gaza to report and to offer medical assistance: that was the core message of the “Conscience”. Normally, in any conflict, humanitarian workers and journalists have access to document conditions and preserve the right to health.

Deadly Gaza Humanitarian Foundation Lobbying For ‘New Role’ In Gaza

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a deadly aid scheme operating in the Gaza Strip, is in talks with US and Israeli officials about a potential new post-war role in the enclave, the Financial Times (FT) reported on 23 October. The US and Israeli-created GHF began operations in May, but the amount of aid it distributed was negligible for Gaza’s roughly 2 million people, aid groups and some Israeli officials have said. At the same time, Israel sought to cut off aid distribution from the UN and international humanitarian groups in Gaza as part of its effort to starve Palestinians and force them to move to the southern region of the strip. At least 1,000 Palestinians were killed by live fire from Israeli troops while seeking food from GHF sites, which have been described as “death traps.”

Welcome To Hell, Remembrances Of Time In Israeli Prison

They loaded the bus with us and we sat there for a while without moving. "Don't take your blindfold off, they have a camera," someone observed. "They are recording everything we are saying," said another comrade. I recognized the voice of the activist sitting next to me. He was a big guy, well over six feet tall. I was squashed into the corner of the last row of the bus. I tried to sit sideways to get more room. The steel seats of the bus made that difficult. It was uncomfortable. At least they didn't zip tie my hands too tightly. It must have been well after midnight when the bus started moving. We were all tired. I dozed fitfully, the whine of the bus transmission in my ears.

Investigation Identifies Over 20 Israeli Soldiers Behind Hind Rajab’s Killing

A new Al Jazeera documentary released on 20 October has identified the Israeli soldiers and officers who were directly involved in the killing of six-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab and her family last year, as well as the rescue workers who were dispatched to the scene. The investigation reveals the involvement of the Israeli army’s 401st Brigade. This includes Lt. Col. Daniel Ela and field officer Maj. Shon Glass. According to the report, Glass was the one who ordered Israeli troops to fire the tank shells that killed the Rajab family in Gaza City’s Tal al-Hawa. He also ordered the attack on the ambulance teams sent to the rescue.

Why The Gaza Tribunal Is Still Needed After Trump’s Ceasefire

The Gaza Tribunal, a people's tribunal, was formed a year ago in response to the failure of the established world order of sovereign states and international institutions to stop what experts and ordinary people increasingly recognised as genocide in Gaza. The Gaza Tribunal will hold its final session from 23-26 October 2025 at Istanbul University. Our initiative was inspired by an earlier civil society effort during the Vietnam War, when leading public intellectuals Bertrand Russell and Jean-Paul Sartre established the Russell Tribunal, which held hearings in 1966 and 1967.

Trump Threatens To ‘Kill’ Hamas Over Execution Of Israeli-Backed Gangs

US President Donald Trump threatened late Thursday, October 16, that he would endorse a military action against Hamas if it continues to target local gangs hired by Israel in the besieged Gaza strip.  “If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.  Trump’s stern warning was proclaimed, days after he was asked by reporters onboard Air Force One about the executions of who they considered Hamas’ rivals, suggesting they are a sign that Hamas is reestablishing its authority in the besieged Gaza Strip. The answer of the US president then was totally contradictory to his Thursday post on Truth Social, because he confirmed to reporters that the US had given approval to the Palestinian group to do so “for a period of time” to eradicate crimes, and stop problems.

Recognizing Palestinian Statehood Is The Floor

Since I first opened my eyes to this world as a third-generation refugee, I was taught that the notorious Balfour Declaration had brought upon us this long, unrelenting history of suffering. Issued in 1917, the statement declared the British government’s support for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. It blatantly denied our existence in our own homeland, instead granting the Jewish people the right to establish their nation on land that is ours — under cover of the myth of “a land without a people for a people without a land.” Our homeland, with its people, was then presented on a gilded plate to Zionist militias and, eventually, the state of Israel, both of which wasted no time in massacring and displacing the Indigenous population during the Nakba and beyond.

Whitewashing Gas Exploration In Post-Genocide Gaza

In December 2022, Israeli Ministry of Energy launched the Fourth Offshore Bid Round offering new exploration licenses. A year later, it awarded licenses to several Israeli and international companies: Eni (Italy), Dana Petroleum (UK, a subsidiary of a South Korean company, and Ratio Petroleum (Israel). The problem is that these tenders violated international law. A few months later in June 2023, following years of stalled talks, Israel approved the development of the Gaza Marine field, while Egypt’s state-owned EGAS (Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company) was to lead extraction efforts in cooperation with the Palestinian Authority.
