Human Rights Expert: Trump Plan For Gaza ‘Worse Than Ethnic Cleansing’

Donald Trump’s outrageous plan to remove the Palestinian people from Gaza, assume U.S. ownership of the Gaza Strip and make it into the “Riviera of the Middle East” reveals his intent to commit a war crime and a crime against humanity. What Trump proposed during a February 4 news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House is “unlawful, immoral and irresponsible,” Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, said at a February 5 press conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. “This is worse than ethnic cleansing. It’s forced displacement … which is an international crime.”

Hezbollah Blasts International Community’s ‘Chronic Indifference’ To Israeli Violations

The head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to the Resistance parliament bloc, Mohammad Raad, slammed the international community’s inaction regarding Israel’s ceasefire violations, stressing the Lebanese people’s “legitimate and sacred” right to confront the Israeli occupation. Raad’s statement came a day after the Israeli army launched airstrikes on Nabatieh and Zawtar in south Lebanon – one of the deepest attacks since the ceasefire was reached in late November. “The treacherous and condemned Zionist aggression on the southern towns of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Zawtar last night is a new example of the permanent and ongoing threat posed by the Israeli entity against our people and our country and against the security and stability of all the peoples and countries of our region,” Raad said.

Israeli Atrocities Continue In Lebanon

Not only did Israel fail to evacuate its army from Southern Lebanon on Sunday, as stipulated in the ceasefire agreement, its forces also shot over 130 Lebanese civilians attempting to return home in accordance with the deal, killing 23 and wounding 109 (of whom some are in critical condition). This included a 12-year-old boy wounded in the neck in Kfarkela, standing right next to my local producer Mahmood. I was 20 yards away and on my way to them. Four were killed in Kfarkela and overnight the Israeli army demolished numerous homes there in “punishment.”

US Senate To Vote On Sanctions Against ICC Over Israel War Crimes Warrants

The US Senate is set to begin voting on Tuesday on a bill that would impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to a report by The Washington Post. The move has reportedly sparked concerns among some prominent European allies who warn it could undermine international law. “U.S. lawmakers are moving to pass a law that some of Washington’s top European allies fear will ‘cripple’ the world’s preeminent international court, enable war criminals to act with impunity, and degrade the West’s moral authority,” the Washington Post reported.

Pro-Palestine Rights Group Urges Italy To Arrest Israeli General

The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), a Belgium-based rights group, called on 13 January for Italian authorities to immediately arrest Israeli Major General Ghassan Alian for war crimes committed against Palestinians in Gaza. According to HRF, Alian is currently in Rome, making this a “critical moment for justice.” The group has filed cases with the International Criminal Court (ICC) and Italian authorities, urging his immediate arrest under the Rome statute on charges of “genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.”  As the Head of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), Alian is responsible for administering the siege of Gaza, including cutting off the supply of water, food, and fuel just days after the war began.

Dr. Martin Luther King’s Prophetic Warning

Over the past three years, a collective of volunteer researchers, lawyers, and commentators created The Merchants of Death War Crimes Tribunal, dedicated to holding accountable four weapon manufacturing corporations based in the U.S. Their tribunal amassed copious evidence to prove that Boeing, Lockheed Martin, RTX (formerly Raytheon) and General Atomics (a company which manufactures weaponized drones) are guilty of committing war crimes. On January 15, 2025, as the world marks the birth of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, a press conference will announce the Tribunal’s verdicts and release the report of ten international jurors who have weighed the evidence submitted to them.

Poland To ‘Shield’ Netanyahu From ICC Arrest Warrant During Visit

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on 9 January that his government would shield Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, from possible arrest on war crimes charges ahead of a visit to Poland this month to commemorate the liberation of Auschwitz. Netanyahu faces an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for alleged war crimes in Gaza, including seeking to starve Palestinians to death by imposing a total blockade on the strip. The ICC also issued a warrant for former defense minister Yoav Gallant on the same charges.

Judgement Day For The Merchants Of Death

On January 15, 2025, five days before the inauguration of a U.S. president who threatens to rain down hell on the Palestinian people, and more war to the world, the Merchants of Death War Crimes Tribunal will release its final report on how Lockheed Martin, Boeing, RTX/Raytheon and drone-maker General Atomics have delivered hell to millions across the globe since 9/11. The Tribunal’s 35 evidentiary episodes explain how these four defendant corporations have been essential enablers of the U.S. colonial campaign of murder, extortion, and thievery since 9/11, epitomized in the horrific crescendo of violence that is already being rained down on the Palestinian people.

Brazilian Court Orders Police Probe Into Vacationing Israeli Soldier

A Brazilian federal court has ordered police to open an immediate investigation into an Israeli soldier accused of committing war crimes in Gaza who is currently on vacation in the country. According to the Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), a Belgium-based NGO supporting Palestinian rights, the federal court of Brazil's federal district, citing Article 88 of the Brazilian Code of Criminal Procedure, “directed the Federal Police to urgently execute the investigative measures requested by the Federal Prosecutor.” HRF said the court order “marks the first instance of a signatory state to the Rome Statute directly enforcing its provisions without relying on the International Criminal Court (ICC),” adding that it sets a “powerful precedent” for nations that adhere to international law to hold the perpetrators of the genocide in Gaza accountable for their actions.

Apple Is Accused Of Profiting From War Crimes In Congo

By every subjective measure, Apple is one of the most successful public companies in history. Its brand perception is synonymous with innovation and its corporate ethos is to make the world a safer, more equitable place. But lofty credos can often be misleading. In the Great Lakes region of Africa, which is ground zero in the global supply chain for Big Tech, Apple appears to have betrayed its vision. The company stands accused of deceiving consumers, laundering Congolese minerals and profiting from war crimes, according to criminal complaints filed against Apple subsidiaries in France and Belgium.

Israel’s Genocide Day 423: Israeli Siege Of North Gaza Intensifies

The UN agency responsible for providing humanitarian relief to Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, announced on Sunday that it has suspended receiving and delivering aid to Gaza through the Karam Abu Salem crossing between Israel and Rafah in southern Gaza, the main entry point to the Strip for humanitarian aid. The agency, which is the largest supplier of aid in Gaza, said in a statement that the road for delivering aid to the crossing point has been dangerous for months, especially since the Israeli invasion of Rafah last April. UNRWA also said that several truck drivers and aid delivery workers had been killed or injured, adding that “it can not continue to put their lives at risk.”

Over A Hundred Jewish Canadians Take Over Parliamentary Building

Ottawa, ON – As catastrophic levels of hunger grip Israeli-occupied Gaza, over a hundred Jewish Canadians and allied supporters of Palestinian liberation have taken over a Parliament Hill building in Ottawa, blocking Members of Parliament from reaching their offices. Their message is clear: Canada cannot continue business as usual with Israel when business as usual means being complicit in a genocide. Canada must end its active participation in Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people by halting all arms exports to Israel—including components funneled through U.S. loopholes—and stopping all arms imports from Israel.

Without Including Biden And Blinken, International Criminal Court Arrest Warrants Are A Sham

After months of procedural stalling, allegations of sexual harassment against the lead prosecutor and systematic threats from the United States and its Western allies, it did not appear that the International Criminal Court (ICC) would even execute the final phase of the criminal indictment process and Israeli impunity would continue. But on November 20, 2024, six months to the day after Karim Khan, chief prosecutor for the court, submitted his request for the indictments of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant and Hamas leaders Mohammed Deif, Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh, the court finally indicted Netanyahu, Gallant and threw in Mohammed Deif who Israel claims to have assassinated, as they did to Sinwar and Haniyeh.

United States Raises Middle Finger To The International Criminal Court

Finally, before history ends, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The indictment stated that there ‘are reasonable grounds to believe that both individuals intentionally and knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including food, water, and medicine and medical supplies, as well as fuel and electricity’. The court found sufficient reasons to believe that the two men ‘bear criminal responsibility’ for the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare, the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts, and the war crime of intentionally directing an attack against a civilian population.

Israeli Army Pushes Deeper Into South Lebanon, Violating Ceasefire

Israeli forces continued to violate the ceasefire with Lebanon on 29 November, advancing on the southern towns of Markaba and Khiam and opening fire at citizens during a funeral – following continuous violations since the agreement went into effect two days ago. “Israeli forces advanced today to the town square of Markaba, which they were unable to enter during the days of the confrontations, and occupied it now during the ceasefire, and the [Israeli] army is carrying out bulldozing operations and destroying roads. Civilians were present in the town yesterday,” Al Manar correspondent Ali Shoeib reported.
