US Tries To Pound Lebanon Into Submission

Israel has intensified its air strikes on Lebanon and in particular on Beirut, ahead of a visit on Tuesday or Wednesday by U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein, at which he will press Lebanon to accept a U.S./Israeli ceasefire plan. This plan is touted as being based on U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701 [of 2006], but in fact represents its abnegation. You may have noted that neoliberal politicians and media pundits, who ignore and denigrate every other U.N. resolution on the Middle East, are suddenly very enthusiastic about UNSCR 1701. This is because it mandates withdrawal of Hezbollah forces to the north of the river Litani.

‘Strong US Pressure’ Behind Muffled Israeli Response To Iraqi Resistance

Iraq's State of Law coalition revealed on 16 November that Israel is under “strong pressure” from the US to prevent any response to ongoing operations in support of Palestine by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI). "There is pressure from the United States of America on the Zionist entity to prevent it from carrying out any strikes against Iraq, for fear of straining the relationship between Baghdad and Washington, especially since there is a joint security agreement between the two countries, and for this reason, America is putting strong pressure on the entity," Saad al-Muttalibi, a senior member of the coalition told Shafaq News.

Israel’s Genocide Day 404: Israel Is Committing Ethnic Cleansing

Israel is committing “systematic,” “widespread” displacement of the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, the international human rights group, Human Rights Watch, said in a report on Wednesday. According to the report, Israel’s actions may amount to a crime against humanity. The group dismissed Israeli claims about Palestinian fighters hiding among civilians, and said that “There is no plausible imperative military reason to justify Israel’s mass displacement of nearly all of Gaza’s population, often multiple times,” indicating that “from the first days of the hostilities, senior officials in the Israeli government and the war cabinet have declared their intent to displace the Palestinian population of Gaza.”

Short On Troops, Israel Turns To Mercenaries

Facing increasing domestic pressure to reveal the true extent of their military losses in Gaza and Lebanon, Israeli officials have released figures that are likely to only reveal minimal numbers. The data claims that since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on 7 October 2023, around 12,000 soldiers and officers have been injured or forced into rehabilitation under the occupation state’s Ministry of Defense. This includes 910 wounded during what Israel calls a "limited ground maneuver" launched by Tel Aviv on the Lebanese border, in addition to the deaths of over 760 officers and soldiers and 140 left completely disabled.

Ansarallah Missiles, Drones Swarm US Warships ‘Preparing Attacks’

Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on 12 November fresh attacks against US warships in the Red Sea, including the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier group. “We targeted the US aircraft carrier Lincoln located in the Arabian Sea with several cruise missiles and drones while it was preparing to launch operations against our country. The operation successfully achieved its objectives,” the spokesman said. Saree also confirmed that a second “successful” operation targeted “two US destroyers in the Red Sea using ballistic missiles and drones.“

There Is No Place For Zionism, Racism And Fascism In Europe

The Executive Committee of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement commented on the events that took place in the streets of Amsterdam and the reactions of the racist Dutch regime that targeted Arab and progressive youth and supporters of Palestine. These repressive attacks continue to target the free revolutionary voices that defend Palestinian rights and reject the Zionist war of extermination in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, instead of the Netherlands preventing the entry of racist hooligan fans of Zionist football clubs and holding them accountable for their assaults on the population. These racist football hooligans participate directly in the crimes of the Zionist enemy and consider themselves an integral part of the ranks of the Zionist army; they form armed colonial militias and carry out daily attacks on our people in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank and call for the displacement of the Palestinian people and desecration of Islamic and Christian holy sites.

Prepping Readers To Accept Mass Slaughter In Lebanese ‘Strongholds’

Back in May 2015, the New York Times’ Isabel Kershner decided to moonlight as an Israeli military propagandist by penning an alleged exposé (5/12/15)—headlined “Israel Says Hezbollah Positions Put Lebanese at Risk”—in which she diligently conveyed all that Israel had to say about Hezbollah’s infrastructure in south Lebanon. The minuscule hamlet of Muhaybib, for example, was said to contain no fewer than “nine arms depots, five rocket-launching sites, four infantry positions, signs of three underground tunnels, three anti-tank positions and, in the very center of the village, a Hezbollah command post.”

Israel’s 2,500 Acts Of Aggression Against Lebanon

Israel has been attacking Lebanon since 1948, the year it was accepted as a member of the United Nations, and its aggression is renewed each time under the pretext of self-defense. Between 1948 and 1973, Israel committed more than 2,500 acts of aggression against Lebanon. The United States and NATO countries participate in Israel’s aggression by providing it with deadly, internationally banned weapons, and there exists a joint military operations room. The Israeli self-defense claim not only violates the United Nations Charter, which in Article 51 outlines the conditions for resorting to force—conditions Israel does not respect, as evident in statements by Israeli officials, particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Iran Offers Moderate Response To Israeli Aggression

Iran offered Israel the opportunity to implement an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and stop killing civilians across the region, if the Zionist state seeks to minimize the impact of the upcoming Iranian retaliation to aggression against the country in the last month. “If they make a revision in their behavior, accept a ceasefire and stop killing the oppressed and innocent people of the region, it could have an effect on the type and intensity of our response,” Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday, November 3.

Israel’s Genocide Day 395: Israel Using Hunger As A Weapon Of War

Israeli internal intelligence arrested four Israelis, one of whom works at Netanyahu’s office, for charges of leaking and falsification of classified documents concerning the ongoing war on Gaza, an Israeli court revealed over the weekend. The fabricated documents allegedly leaked by one of Netanyahu’s aides were falsely attributed to the late Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar. The revelations of the recent fabrications repudiate Israeli propaganda claims of Hamas’s alleged intransigence in ceasefire negotiations throughout the war, especially during the last round of negotiations over the summer.

Israel’s Ground Invasion Of Lebanon Is Unraveling

On Oct. 1, Israel announced a limited ground invasion in southern Lebanon. Now, a month and roughly 100 soldier casualties later, Israeli officials appear to be searching for an exit, insisting that their goals have been fulfilled. At the outset, Israeli officials described the ground invasion as “limited, localized, and targeted,” with the stated aim of neutralizing Hezbollah’s ability to fire on northern Israeli settlements. Yet, within days, Tel Aviv mobilized four additional divisions along the southern Lebanon border, signaling a clear escalation in its military engagement.

US Embassy Blocks Iraq-Lebanon Humanitarian Air Bridge

The US embassy in Lebanon has blocked the establishment of a humanitarian air bridge between Baghdad and Beirut, insisting instead that any humanitarian aid for those displaced by the Israeli war be delivered via Jordan “for inspection first,” according to a report by Lebanese daily Al Akhbar. Washington reportedly also threatened Lebanon's national airliner, Middle East Airlines (MEA), with sanctions if its planes were used to transport those wounded by Israel's terror attack that caused communication devices to explode across the country.

Israel’s Genocide Day 391: Israel Kills 200 Palestinians In Gaza

In his first televised address as newly elected Secretary General of Hezbollah, Naim Qassem said on Wednesday that his leadership of the Lebanese resistance group will be a continuation of the leadership of his predecessor, Hasan Nasrallah, who was assassinated by Israel on September 28. Qassem affirmed that Hezbollah has not changed course despite the heavy blows it suffered with Israel’s assassination of several of its top military leaders, Nasrallah included. The Hezbollah Secretary General stated that the organization had the capacity to “fight for days, weeks, and months.”

Lebanese Journalists Defy Israeli Threats To Expose The Truth

While reporting from south Lebanon for the past year, Mortada has received many threats, including directly from the Israeli army’s Arabic language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee. “He put a tweet on his X account saying I’m not a journalist. I am a spy working for Hezbollah on the border,” says Mortada, the Al Mayadeen field correspondent in south Lebanon, where Hezbollah fighters are fiercely resisting Israel’s ongoing ground invasion and mass bombing campaign. The Israelis started to make online polls, asking people whether they should kill me today, or tomorrow. It was hard because we know they are not joking. There is a big probability they will do something.

How Israel Is Trying To Beat The ‘Axis Of Resistance’

In a recent public address on October 4, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei highlighted for the first time what he described as U.S. and Israeli plans to control the region’s natural resources. He stated that Israel’s current war campaign aims to position Israel as a hub for exporting energy to Europe and importing technology to ensure its survival. Khamenei called for resistance against the so-called India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), a proposed land bridge connecting India, Saudi, the UAE, Jordan, Israel, and Europe.
