Rogue States: The Illegality Of The US-Backed Israeli Attacks On Iran

The Israeli regime, drunk with western-backed impunity, flush with western-supplied weapons, and driven by a violent, western-born racist ideology, is rampaging across the Middle East, leaving a trail of blood and destruction in its wake. The Israeli regime’s blatant act of aggression against Iran is just the latest crime perpetrated by the regime in its current twenty-month orgy of violence in the region. But Israel is not a lone rogue. And it could not get away with its crimes without a powerful backer. The U.S. provided the Israeli regime with the greenlight for its surprise attack

US Relocates Forces From Gulf Bases Ahead Of Possible Iran Strike

On 18 June, the US began relocating aircraft and naval assets from key military sites in West Asia over concerns of potential Iranian retaliation, two US officials told reporters on condition of anonymity. The repositioning effort includes aircraft not housed in hardened shelters at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, and naval vessels previously stationed at the port of Bahrain, home to the US Navy’s 5th Fleet. One official said the moves fall under standard force protection procedures. “It is not an uncommon practice,” the official said. “Force protection is the priority.”

Mahmoud Khalil To Be Freed From Detention

June 20, 2025, Newark, NY– A federal court today granted bail to Mahmoud Khalil, the Columbia University graduate student and lawful permanent resident targeted for deportation by the Trump administration because of his Palestinian rights advocacy. He will be able to return to New York to be with his wife and newborn son while his case proceeds.  “After more than three months, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief and know that Mahmoud is on his way home to me and Deen, who never should have been separated from his father,” said Dr. Noor Abdalla, Mahmoud Khalil’s wife.

Standing Up To Sanctions

We often hear about countries sanctioning one another as a punitive measure in place of military action, to spare lives and civil infrastructure. But there is strong academic criticism of the effectiveness of sanctions, with a key concern being that, even broad economic actions can have disastrous consequences to real people just trying to live and work. Some of these consequences are straightforward: sanctions can reduce access to fuel, food, power and so on, but they also impact some areas of society with wide reaching and lasting effects. Education, in particular, can suffer greatly, affecting lives in a worrying number of ways.

Israel’s War On Iran Has No Future

An unnoticed undercurrent of the Israel-Iran War is that three Christian nations in Europe — the U.K., France and Germany — have joined the fray with alacrity on the side of Israel. Strange, isn’t it, that these European countries comprising the so-called E-3 have a well-established exclusive path of dialogue with Iran but are joining Israel’s warpath? It’s a Crusade, stupid! The three “Crusader nations” share Israel’s obsession to check the rise of a Muslim nation as an emerging power in the Middle East that could radically transform its geopolitical alignments. Simply put, destroying the Islamic regime in Iran is the real objective of Israel’s war — and of the three Christian nations from Europe.

Pentagon Official Sacked For Criticizing US Support To Israel; Tulsi Gabbard ‘Sidelined’

US Colonel Nathan McCormack, the head of the Levant and Egypt branch at the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s J5 planning directorate, was removed from his position this week after he criticized Washington's unwavering support for Israel on social media. “Our worst ‘ally.’ We get literally nothing out of the ‘partnership’ other than the enmity of millions of people in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia," McCormack said in one of several posts discovered by the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) on a semi-anonymous X account allegedly linked to him. “The US has not been an honest broker. We have overwhelmingly enabled Israel’s bad behavior,” he adds.

Iran Now First Line Of Defense Of BRICS And The Global South

Israel’s shock’n awe on Iran—straight from the trademark US playbook—essentially failed, despite the initial combination of speed, meticulous military planning and the element of surprise, including hacking the Iranian electronic communications within the military grid; decapitation of the vertical IRGC nomenklatura; the spiderweb drone attack playbook; and bombing—ultimately ineffectual—of key nodes of the Iranian nuclear infrastructure. It took hours for top Iranian technicians to get their grid back. And once that happened, the tide began to turn, to the point that after surgical missile volleys deep in the night on Sunday, the IRGC announced its capability to seriously disrupt Israel’s command and control systems using “enhanced intelligence,” thus breaching Iron—or Paper—Dome.

Why Washington Targets Iran And Venezuela: Empire, Energy, Ideology

Venezuela and Iran hold the largest and third-largest petroleum reserves in the world, respectively. Both have also been targeted for regime change by Washington. The two commonalities are not unrelated. Of course, the world’s hegemon would like to get its hands on all their oil. But it would be simplistic to think that would be only for narrow economic reasons. Control over energy flows – especially from countries with large reserves – is central to maintaining global influence. Washington requires control of strategic resources to maintain its position as the global hegemon, guided by its official policy of “full spectrum dominance.”

The Middle East Is On Fire; Israeli And US Imperialism Lit The Match

Overnight, the zionist entity of Israel escalated its war of aggression against Iran by launching unprovoked attacks on the Islamic Republic. The notion that a rogue ethnostate that is currently carrying out a genocide believes that it possesses the right to determine which countries can and cannot develop a nuclear weapon is both bizarre and egregious as well as brazenly hypocritical, and further demonstrates that the State of Israel operates firmly within the structures of white “supremacy” ideology, colonialism, and imperialism. Iran, like all sovereign nations, has the right to defend itself from aggression and uphold its security in the face of repeated threats and acts of war.

Critics Decry Scotus Ruling Upholding Ban On Gender-Affirming Care

On Wednesday, the United States Supreme Court ruled to uphold a Tennessee law that bans physicians from providing gender-affirming care to transgender children, a decision that will likely reverberate across the more than two dozen states that have similar bans. Critics decried the decision as denying trans kids access to safe and critical health care options. Gender-affirming care, including for youth, is endorsed by the vast majority of respected health organizations, and is considered to be life-saving by many who receive it. All six conservative justices on the high court sided with Tennessee lawmakers, who argued that their ban should be allowed to operate.

Bipartisan Lawmakers Push To Limit Trump’s War Powers On Iran

In response to Donald Trump’s recent declaration that the U.S. could become involved in Israel’s attacks on Iran, U.S. lawmakers are pushing efforts to curb the President’s war powers. Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY.) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) are introducing a bipartisan bill that would force Trump to obtain congressional approval to enter the war. “This is not our war,” tweeted Massie. “But if it were, Congress must decide such matters according to our Constitution. I’m introducing a bipartisan War Powers Resolution tomorrow to prohibit our involvement. I invite all members of Congress to cosponsor this resolution.”

Mahmoud Khalil Still Detained Despite Court Ruling It Unconstitutional

Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil, who has been detained in a remote ICE facility in Jena, Louisiana, since March, was hoping to be released last Friday after U.S. District Judge Michael Farbiarz ruled there was no legitimate basis for his continued detention. The judge ruled that Mahmoud Khalil’s months-long detention by the Trump administration on the grounds that Khalil’s campus activism in support of Palestinian rights posed a danger to “U.S. foreign policy” had chilled Khalil’s ability to express himself and was presumptively unconstitutional. But in a letter to the judge Friday, the government justified not releasing Khalil based on false allegations that he committed fraud on his 2024 green card application by not disclosing his previous employment with organizations including a UN agency that helps Palestinians.

Stop Netanyahu Before He Gets Us All Killed

For nearly 30 years, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has driven the Middle East into war and destruction. The man is a powder keg of violence. Throughout all the wars that he has championed, Netanyahu [who is wanted by the International Criminal Court] has always dreamed of the big one: to defeat and overthrow the Iranian government. His long-sought war, just launched, might just get us all killed in a nuclear Armageddon, unless Netanyahu is stopped. Netanyahu’s fixation on war goes back to his extremist mentors, Ze’ev Jabotinsky, Yitzhak Shamir and Menachem Begin.

Tel Aviv Blocks Evacuation Flights As Israelis Attempt To Flee

About 150,000 Israelis are stranded abroad due to Tel Aviv’s war on Iran and the shutdown of all flights caused by Iranian retaliatory missile strikes against Israel. Israeli authorities have launched a repatriation plan that has also barred Israelis from leaving. Rescue flights are not expected to start before 19 June at the earliest. The new plan has been launched by Israel’s Transportation Ministry and Civil Aviation Authority to bring back the Israelis. “The operation to return Israeli citizens residing abroad may begin toward the end of the week, and perhaps not until the beginning of next week. We are still studying the enemy, the patterns, to understand the ritual of the threats,” said the CEO of Israir, Uri Sirkis.

Israel’s War On Iran Was Never Just About Nukes

Since the 1990s, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been unwavering in his strategic objective: stopping Iran’s nuclear program. At a time when even Washington was focused on peace deals and settlements with the Palestinians, Netanyahu was already fixated on Iran. He criticized the peace agreement with the Palestinians but consistently highlighted the “Iranian threat.” At a time when this issue was not a global or regional priority, Netanyahu stood almost alone in warning against Iran’s nuclear ambitions. In the early 2000s, while Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon focused on crushing the Al-Aqsa Intifada and what he called “Palestinian terrorism,” Netanyahu was simultaneously warning about Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
