The Mayan prophecy that I have been raised with teaches that this time in history is an era of great significance for global human consciousness. Through our prophecy, we are taught that as of December 21, 2012, a new age of human consciousness was born. In this new era of consciousness for the first time in the history of our species, the mind of the North and the mind of the South could meet and see from one another’s perspective.

Due to its unusual growth spurt, this narrow-minded activity is now openly assailing “people of color,” physically and emotionally. An obvious activity is to tell people to return to where they originated from. Their profanity is intense and clearly meant to instill fear and hurt emotions. This unfounded hatred was once done secretly, now it is out in the open. The national government has become an obvious nesting site for this violent bigotry. Also, it is obvious to see that it has infiltrated all levels of local government, including courts, police, jail, and social services. These bigots are of European Caucasoid origin, educated, illiterate, elderly, young, rich and poor.

He offered food, water, and clothing to migrants on a deadly stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border. Now he’s facing twenty years in prison. Humanitarian groups fear the situation will only get worse. A year ago, two undocumented Central American immigrants who crossed into Arizona from Mexico found themselves in especially dire straits. The two immigrants, Kristen Perez-Villanueva and Jose Arnaldo Sacaria-Goday, had dropped their backpacks containing food and water while being chased by U.S. Border Patrol agents. Their journey into Pima County, on the Arizona side of the border, was high risk. More than 2,100 bodies of undocumented immigrants, many of them never identified, have been found there since 2001, according to the Pima County Medical Examiner’s Office.

January 15, 2019, the release date of this report, would have been the 90th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King envisioned a future in which deep racial inequalities were eradicated and he worked tirelessly towards that mission. His tragic assassination occurred while he was organizing the Poor Peoples Campaign, his last great effort to ensure economic justice as a cornerstone of civil rights. In light of Dr. King’s pursuit of economic justice, this report highlights how historic racial wealth disparities have been perpetuated and increased by the trend towards extreme inequality in the United States. It also puts the racial wealth divide in the context of overall wealth inequality trends.

In my opinion, they use black and brown bodies of our family members to create jobs for white men who would otherwise be poor like those that filled the prisons. The urban cities provide a constant supply and job security to the rural towns of Pennsylvania. When my son arrived at prison, I had the normal fears of him being very young in an adult prison around older men who may be predators. I also had fears that he would be caught up between gangs. I soon learned that the most notorious gang in the prison system was not the Crips and Bloods but the C’s and the O’s as I liked to call the gang-like corrections officers.
