Join The Anti-Genocide Pledge To Stop The Bloodshed In Gaza

On October 17 2023, after 10 days of relentless aerial bombardment of the Gaza Strip, Israel bombed al-Ahli hospital which was housing hundreds of Palestinians who had fled their demolished homes. The world watched in disbelief at the intentional targeting of a hospital sheltering the displaced, certain that Israel had crossed a red line. For a brief moment, it felt as though we had seen the worst of the genocide and surely, with the entire world as witnesses, it would stop. One year and seven months have passed since then. Since then, every single hospital in Gaza has been targeted, estimates of more than 100,000 Palestinians have been killed.

Gaza Flotilla Ship Madleen Begins Its Voyage To Gaza

The Gaza Flotilla sailboat Madleen set off from Catania, Sicily, Italy on June 1, 2025 for a 7-day voyage to Gaza to break the 40-year illegal Israeli naval blockade of Gaza and now to stop the 600 day genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. The Madleen and her 12-person crew and participants departed Catania, Sicily, Italy about 4pm Central European Summer Time on Sunday, June 1, 2025 following four very successful community events in Catania, each event having several hundred members of the local community attending. The Madleen is named after Gaza’s first and only fisherwoman in 2014. The ship is a symbol of the unyielding spirit of Palestinian resilience and the growing global resistance to Israel’s use of collective punishment and deliberate starvation policies.

This Palestinian Town Is Reviving The Spirit Of Struggle In ’48 Palestine

As images of burned children, starving families, and bombed hospitals in Gaza become the constant soundtrack of daily life, the Palestinian communities that survived the Nakba and stayed in the lands that were occupied by Israel in 1948 (hence called “’48 Palestinians”), are filled with anger, frustration, and a sense of hollowness and disempowerment. Against the general paralysis, Umm al-Fahm, the main Palestinian city in “the Northern Triangle region,” stands out. Palestinian activists in the town, united around the local “popular committee,” keep trying to break the barriers of repression and fear that have taken hold in their community since October 7. The last attempt was on Saturday, May 24.

Global Coalition Of 32 Countries To March Into Gaza On Foot

In an unprecedented move, a coalition of trade unions, human rights groups, and solidarity movements from over 32 countries has launched the “Global March to Gaza”, aiming to enter the besieged Strip on foot. The initiative responds to the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where a nearly 20-month Israeli siege has left over two million Palestinians on the brink of famine. Saif Abu Kishk, president of the International Coalition Against Israeli Occupation, stated the march aims to stop the genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), deliver immediate humanitarian aid, and pressure for the total lifting of the blockade.

Veterans Launch 40-Day Fast To Protest Israel’s Starvation Of Gaza

As the death toll of Palestinians continues to rise and more than a half a million people in Gaza are on the brink of famine, U.S.-based Veterans For Peace and several allied organizations have launched a 40-day “Fast for Gaza.” From May 22 to June 30, 600 people in the U.S. and abroad are fasting and demanding full humanitarian aid to Gaza under UN authority and an end to U.S. weapons shipments to Israel. Mary Kelly Gardner, a teacher from Santa Cruz, California, told Truthout she joined the fast in memory of her late father, a service member in Vietnam who “staunchly opposed U.S. militarism.” He opposed “the so-called ‘war on terror’ and ongoing U.S. violence against Middle Eastern countries,” she said.

The Sarajevo Declaration Of The Gaza Tribunal

We, the members of the Gaza Tribunal, having gathered in Sarajevo from 26 to 29 May 2025, declare our collective moral outrage at the continuing genocide in Palestine, our solidarity with the people of Palestine, and our commitment to working with partners across global civil society to end the genocide and to ensure accountability for perpetrators and enablers, redress for victims and survivors, the building of a more just international order, and a free Palestine. We condemn the Israeli regime, its perpetration of genocide, and its decades-long policies and practices of settler colonialism, ethno-supremacism, apartheid, racial segregation, persecution, unlawful settlements...

Poll: 82% Of Israelis Want To Expel Palestinians From Gaza

Support for genocide, mass murder, and ethnic cleansing is widespread in Israel. Israel’s former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert admitted that his country is waging a “war of extermination: the indiscriminate, unrestrained, cruel, and criminal killing of civilians”. Meanwhile, the vast majority of Israelis want to expel Palestinians from Gaza, and roughly half want to kill every single man, woman, and child in the besieged strip. This is according to a poll that was published by the major Israeli newspaper Haaretz. It found that 82% of Israelis want to expel Gazans, and 47% of support killing all Palestinians in Gaza. The more religious an Israeli is, the more likely they are to support genocide and ethnic cleansing.`

Reports Of Killings, Abductions, And Missing Persons At US-Run Aid Center

Muhammad Imad Abdel Hadi traveled from Khan Younis to Rafah on May 27 to obtain food after hearing that the American and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) was distributing aid in the Tal al-Sultan area. Amid the chaos that erupted at the distribution point, starving Palestinians desperate for food stormed the site and forced the American mercenaries manning it to retreat. Muhammad was one of the people who managed to secure a food parcel for his family. He was on his way back with the joyful news when the Israeli army killed him before he could deliver it. Muhammad’s mother, Rehab Abdel Hadi, dressed in black, now carries her son’s coffin at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis and walks in his funeral procession.

City University Of New York Hunger Strike for Gaza!

Starting May 27, 2025, students, faculty, and staff from the CUNY Graduate Center, School of Labor and Urban Studies, Baruch, and Brooklyn Colleges launched an indefinite hunger strike on the steps of the Graduate Center. Our demand is clear: that Chancellor Félix Matos Rodríguez and the CUNY Board of Trustees divest immediately from the zionist settler colonial state and from all weapons and tech manufacturers supporting the ongoing Israeli-US genocide in Gaza. As Gaza faces mass starvation under total siege—with over 300 already starved to death, 14,000 babies at risk in the next 48 hours, and nearly a million children facing imminent death—CUNY continues to invest in the corporations enabling this violence.

15 Years Ago I Was On A Gaza Flotilla Mission That Ended In 10 Dead And 50 Wounded By Israeli Commandos

Fifteen years ago, in May 2010, I was one of approximately 700 persons that sailed on 7 unarmed civilian ships to break the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza and bring needed food, medicines and materials to Palestinians in Gaza who were suffering under the brutal, inhumane policies enacted by the Israeli government, which included a naval, land and air blockade of Gaza. These policies included “putting Palestinians on a diet” by reducing the caloric intake of persons living in Gaza by allowing a much reduce number of trucks carrying food into Gaza.  I don’t think 15 years ago, we could have predicted the cruelty of the Israeli government as it now conducts the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians living in the West Bank.

Amid ‘Catastrophic’ Food Insecurity, Child Illness In Gaza Turns Deadly

Before the war, conditions like scabies and lice were manageable. Treatment required basic medication and hygiene. Now, overcrowding, shared living spaces, and limited hygiene supplies have made containment nearly impossible, the doctor says. Secondary infections, fever, and pneumonia are becoming more frequent.  By mid-2024, recorded cases of scabies and lice surpassed 96,000, mostly among displaced children. Chickenpox cases rose to nearly 9,274. “Amidst the massive numbers of affected people, we suffer a serious deficiency in access to medicines,” a pediatrician in Gaza told Mondoweiss. “We’re forced to treat patients with whatever limited quantities we receive from the Ministry of Health.”

Starving Palestinians Storm US Aid Facility In Gaza

Palestinians clamoured for aid and gunfire rang out in chaotic scenes, as a controversial US-Israeli aid distribution scheme turned to shambles. Journalists in the besiged Gaza Strip said hungry and beleagured residents forced to stand outside a facility holding aid rushed inside because of delays conducting detailed security checks on recepients. According to Israeli army sources cited by Israeli media, Americans affiliated with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation had to be rescued once they lost control of the facility. The Israeli military denied firing on the crowds but gunfire was heard at the scene, possibly as a result of warning shots fired by American mercenaries securing the facility.

Veterans, Allies Fast For Gaza: ‘We Cannot Normalize Genocide’

On May 22, veterans and their allies launched a 40-day Fast for Gaza with two core demands: provide humanitarian supplies to Palestinians and stop sending weapons to the illegal state of Israel. A core group of fasters is holding a daily vigil in front of the US mission to the United Nations in New York City. They are joined by more than 400 solidarity fasters. Clearing the FOG speaks with two of the fasters and organizers, Kathy Kelly, board president of World Beyond War, and Mike Ferner, former national director of Veterans for Peace, about the fast, their experiences with supporting those who are targeted by wars, and the importance of continuing to oppose the genocide of Palestinians. They encourage people to join the fast however they are able. Get more information and sign up at FOSNA.org/2025gazafast.

CEO Of US-Israeli Aid Scheme Announces Resignation

Jake Wood, the executive director of the controversial Israeli-led aid distribution plan for Gaza, announced his resignation on 26 May due to the impossibility of implementing the initiative without violating “humanitarian principles of humanity.” Wood stressed that upon assuming his role, the plan was still a “loose constellation of various ideas and concepts” which he sought to establish “as a truly independent humanitarian entity.” “I am proud of the work I oversaw, including developing a pragmatic plan that could feed hungry people, address security concerns about diversion, and complement the work of longstanding NGOs in Gaza,” the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) director added.

State Of The Palestinian Resistance

16 months of brutal genocide and siege have done all but break the Palestinian resistance, which has steadfastly – if not miraculously – fended off and broken the ruthless siege of the Zionist entity. As an official death toll stands at 61,700 – with much more accurate estimates tallying the martyrs at over 300,000, “Israel” has yet again turned to slaughtering civilians. The Palestinian resistance has recruited at least 30,000 new fighters in Gaza, according to conservative estimates earlier this year. Three-quarters of the Resistance’s tunnels remain and the ambushing and fighting both Al-Qassam and Saraya al-Quds continue against an occupation that has mostly withdrawn its ground occupying troops in Gaza while mulling over sending robots into Gaza.
