If you like the tactics being used, you can adapt them for your own struggle. Check out our Resources Page for links to tools that may be helpful in your resistance.

Radar Plans May Allow United States To Dominate Space From Wales

Plans to build a space radar station could allow US President Donald Trump to dominate space from Wales, campaigners have said. More than 15,000 people have signed an online petition opposing Ministry of Defence (MoD) plans to build 27 radar dishes at Cawdor Barracks in Brawdy, Pembrokeshire. Jim Scott, a spokesman for the People Against Radar Campaign (PARC), said "provoking China" by supporting US military aims "where there is no rational imperative to do so" would be a bad idea. The UK government said Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) was vital to track objects in deep space and protect satellite and communication and navigation networks.

EBay Aims To Bust Trading Card Union With 200 Layoffs

More than two years after voting in a union, the 220 workers at TCGplayer, the eBay-owned online marketplace for trading cards, hoped they might be getting close to securing a first contract. Instead, they’re fighting to save their jobs. On May 22, the company abruptly announced that it was shuttering its Syracuse, New York, authentication center and moving operations to Louisville, Kentucky. Spurred by unfair discipline and low pay, workers at TCGplayer became the first U.S. eBay workers to organize a union, joining Communications Workers Local 1123 in a March 2023 vote.

MTST Consolidates Occupation In Rio De Janeiro’s Port Region

In the early hours of Saturday, May 31, the Homeless Workers’ Movement (MTST) strengthened an occupation in an area of Rio de Janeiro’s port region that already brought together around 200 families. According to the Movement, the area belongs to Jornal do Brasil and Docas S.A. and had been abandoned for more than two decades. Members of the MTST have been cleaning up the land, preparing the area to organize housing and a community kitchen. “This is an occupation that has been going on for a few days and today we are in the process of consolidating it, guaranteeing more structure for the families,” explains Gabriel Siqueira, national coordinator for the MTST.

Deliveristas Protest Police Harassment In New York City

Forty members and supporters of Los Deliveristas, an organization of app-based delivery workers in New York City, gathered in front of City Hall on May 28 to protest what they claim is police harassment of their members. They came bearing banners in Spanish and English that read “We are Workers not Criminals.” Several New York City Council members came out of City Hall to join their protest and expressed their support. At this press conference a spokesperson for Los Deliveristas said that their members had received over 1,000 criminal citations from the police in the last two weeks, following the NYPD’s decision on April 28 to crackdown on e-bikes that go through red lights.

Join The Anti-Genocide Pledge To Stop The Bloodshed In Gaza

On October 17 2023, after 10 days of relentless aerial bombardment of the Gaza Strip, Israel bombed al-Ahli hospital which was housing hundreds of Palestinians who had fled their demolished homes. The world watched in disbelief at the intentional targeting of a hospital sheltering the displaced, certain that Israel had crossed a red line. For a brief moment, it felt as though we had seen the worst of the genocide and surely, with the entire world as witnesses, it would stop. One year and seven months have passed since then. Since then, every single hospital in Gaza has been targeted, estimates of more than 100,000 Palestinians have been killed.

Swell Of Support For Pro-Palestine Student Yunseo Chung

Following a court hearing on Thursday, May 29, a federal judge extended an order blocking Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting 21-year-old college student Yunseo Chung. Chung, like fellow Columbia students and graduates Mahmoud Khalil, Mohsen Mahdawi, and Ranjani Srinivasan, has been targeted by the Trump administration amid its broader attacks on immigrants, institutions of higher education, and the pro-Palestine movement. The temporary restraining order on Chung’s detention by ICE is now extended until her next court hearing on June 5.

Orange County Protests Zionist-Owned Shopping Center And Art Center

Costa Mesa, CA – On Saturday, May 31, chants of “Free, free Palestine!” were heard as about 50 protesters gathered on the corner of Sunflower and Bristol in Costa Mesa. The protest was across from South Coast Plaza, which is a luxury shopping center filled with high-end stores that rakes in $2 billion per year. Emcee Amy Parker of the Orange County Democratic Socialists of America (OC DSA) reminded the crowd that the plaza is owned by the Zionist Sergerstrom family. The family has also donated at least $40 million to the Sergerstrom Center of the Arts which was also protested earlier this year for hosting the Israel Philharmonic.

Despite Anti-Trump Mandate, Canada’s New PM Pushes ‘Golden Dome’

For just $61 billion, Canada can get in on Donald Trump’s latest scheme: a space-based North American missile defense system that Trump has called the “Golden Dome.” Trump posted the amount of money he would expect Canada to pay on his Truth Social account on May 27 — the same day that King Charles was in Ottawa to read the Speech from the Throne to open a new session of Parliament. Trump told Canadians that if Canada became the 51th state, the cost of being part of the program would drop to zero — something that Global News reports that the Prime Minister’s Office had not heard from Trump. Trump’s plan revives a version of Ronald Reagan’s spaced-based missile plan, popularly known as “Star Wars.”

From Coast To Coast, People Demand Health Care For All, Not Profits

On Saturday, May 31, people across the United States rallied as part of the first National Day of Action organized by National Single Payer to demand Health, not Profit: Put National Single Payer on the Nation's Agenda. A national single payer healthcare system would cover every person living in the United States and its territories from birth to death and provide comprehensive coverage, including all medically necessary care, medications and therapies, and longterm care. The reality that healthcare in the US is designed to provide profits for the medical-industrial complex rather than protecting people's health has spurred a growing coalition of organizations to take action together.

Gaza Flotilla Ship Madleen Begins Its Voyage To Gaza

The Gaza Flotilla sailboat Madleen set off from Catania, Sicily, Italy on June 1, 2025 for a 7-day voyage to Gaza to break the 40-year illegal Israeli naval blockade of Gaza and now to stop the 600 day genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. The Madleen and her 12-person crew and participants departed Catania, Sicily, Italy about 4pm Central European Summer Time on Sunday, June 1, 2025 following four very successful community events in Catania, each event having several hundred members of the local community attending. The Madleen is named after Gaza’s first and only fisherwoman in 2014. The ship is a symbol of the unyielding spirit of Palestinian resilience and the growing global resistance to Israel’s use of collective punishment and deliberate starvation policies.

This Palestinian Town Is Reviving The Spirit Of Struggle In ’48 Palestine

As images of burned children, starving families, and bombed hospitals in Gaza become the constant soundtrack of daily life, the Palestinian communities that survived the Nakba and stayed in the lands that were occupied by Israel in 1948 (hence called “’48 Palestinians”), are filled with anger, frustration, and a sense of hollowness and disempowerment. Against the general paralysis, Umm al-Fahm, the main Palestinian city in “the Northern Triangle region,” stands out. Palestinian activists in the town, united around the local “popular committee,” keep trying to break the barriers of repression and fear that have taken hold in their community since October 7. The last attempt was on Saturday, May 24.

Family Sues Fossil Fuel Giants For Wrongful Death

In a legal first, a Washington state woman has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against some of the world’s largest fossil fuel companies, seeking to hold them accountable for the death of her mother during an unprecedented heatwave that scientists say would have been “virtually impossible” without climate change. Misti Leon filed the lawsuit in King County Superior Court against ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, BP, ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, and BP subsidiary Olympic Pipeline Company. She alleges the companies are liable for the death of her mother, Juliana Leon, who died of hyperthermia after being exposed to extreme heat in June 2021.

Global Coalition Of 32 Countries To March Into Gaza On Foot

In an unprecedented move, a coalition of trade unions, human rights groups, and solidarity movements from over 32 countries has launched the “Global March to Gaza”, aiming to enter the besieged Strip on foot. The initiative responds to the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where a nearly 20-month Israeli siege has left over two million Palestinians on the brink of famine. Saif Abu Kishk, president of the International Coalition Against Israeli Occupation, stated the march aims to stop the genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), deliver immediate humanitarian aid, and pressure for the total lifting of the blockade.

Colonial Mining Fuels Israeli Genocide: Global Protests Target Glencore

In a protest against Glencore, one of the world’s largest mining conglomerates fueling Israel’s genocide in Gaza and devastating the environment of the local communities in the mining towns in Africa and South America, activists organized a global day of action on Wednesday, May 28. Demonstrations were reported in South Africa, Colombia, Peru, Germany, and Switzerland, where the Anglo-Swiss multinational held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) that day.  The company’s shareholders have gathered in Switzerland “to celebrate the record profits” it makes by extracting and transporting coal to “the genocidal state of Israel” where it is “used to fuel the killing machine,” Socialist Youth Movement member Zaki Mamdoo told Newzroom Afrika.

Brazilian Oil Unions Demand Energy Embargo On Israel

Two of Brazil’s largest federations of oil trade unions have called on the country’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to impose an energy embargo on Israel over its brutal war against the Gaza Strip.  The National Federation of Oil Workers and the Single Federation of Oil Workers signed a letter to the Brazilian president and a number of his ministers urging the government to take a firmer stance against the genocidal war against Palestinians.  The federations said Brazil must do more than make public statements and impose a full ban on oil sales to Israel in an effort to actively prevent the “ongoing Nakba” – using the Arabic word for catastrophe, which refers to the ethnic cleansing and mass exodus of Palestinians in 1948.
