Israel and its partners continue to wage genocide against the Palestinian people. Those who, so far, have survived the hideous attacks since October 7, 2023, now face ongoing jeopardy. Hemmed in by yet another military border, over two million Palestinians in “East Gaza” live amid rubble, unexploded ordnance, decaying corpses, starvation conditions, and the uncertainties of inhabiting makeshift homes without sewage, sanitation, clean water, or protection against harsh winter weather.
A saddening certainty was hammered home on November 17, 2025, when not a single country stood up for them at the United Nations.
Iran, Imperialist Aggression, And The Western Left’s Blind Spot

Iran, Marxism, US Empire, Western Imperislism
Western Marxism, as Ponce de León and Rockhill (Citation2024) note in their introduction to Domenico Losurdo’s Western Marxism, has long been characterized by ‘the dogmatic rejection of actually existing socialism’ and a neglect of national liberation and anti-colonial struggles. This is not an intellectual quirk, it is a structural feature: it treats the fight for sovereignty in the Global South as a secondary matter – at best a distraction, at worst a reactionary detour. The logics behind this are rooted in Eurocentrism and sustained by the material privileges of the imperialist core – what Lenin (Citation1916) identified as a bribed ‘upper stratum’ of the working class, made possible by ‘super profits’ from colonial exploitation that ‘foster, give shape to, and strengthen opportunism’.
Campbell’s Executive ‘Revelations’ Expose Rot Of Capitalism

In a moment of breathtaking — and allegedly accidental — candor, a Campbell’s Soup executive was recently caught on tape letting the truth slip. “We have sh*t for f*cking poor people,” allegedly declared Campbell’s Vice President Martin Bally, before admitting he barely eats the company’s products himself because they’re “not healthy” and contain “bioengineered meat.” Now, it’s reported, the company has decided to “dismiss” (aka fire) the VP for his comments in an effort to save face.
The same company that sells us nostalgic, heartwarming commercials featuring sweet old snowmen is, in the boardroom, run by people who openly acknowledge they peddle often unhealthy foods to the working class and poor.
Selling Out Australian Sovereignty

Exclusive reports by Declassified Australia of at least 71 packages of F-35 fighter jet weapons parts being exported from Sydney to Israel have revealed that Australia has forfeited control over the plane’s spare parts stored here for Australia’s fleet of F-35s.
Australia has signed up to a system where, at a moment’s notice, those “parts and components” may be whisked off the shelves at the RAAF Williamtown Air Base in New South Wales on the whim of a foreign state to be exported to a foreign country in a distant war zone.
“What you’re probably talking about is items that Lockheed Martin imported into Australia to support the maintenance and sustainment of our fleet and then needed to move around to someone else. They are entitled to do that under the F-35 global supply chain mechanism.”
Gazans Feel Little Relief From Israeli Strangulation Since Ceasefire
It’s been nearly two months since the ceasefire was reached in Gaza. Hopes were high among the 2 million Palestinians in the besieged Strip that not only would the Israeli bombings stop, but that everything they had been deprived of for the past two years – food, clean water, adequate medicine and healthcare – would flood into Gaza to ease their struggles. The hopes of regaining a fragment of the life they knew before the war, have dissipated, as the reality of a “new genocide” sets in.
Though some aid has come into Gaza, and people have tried to restore some semblance of normalcy, the reality in Gaza is far from peacetime.

The Supreme Court on Dec. 5, 2025, agreed to review the long-simmering controversy over birthright citizenship. It will likely hand down a ruling next summer.
In January 2025, President Donald Trump issued an executive order removing the recognition of citizenship for the U.S.-born children of both immigrants here illegally and visitors here only temporarily. The new rule is not retroactive. This change in long-standing U.S. policy sparked a wave of litigation culminating in Trump v. Washington, an appeal by Trump to remove the injunction put in place by federal courts.

Administrators at the University of Alabama shut down two student-led publications and claimed that a memo from Attorney General Pam Bondi required them to censor journalism.
On July 29, Bondi issued “non-binding suggestions” for “federal funding recipients to comply with antidiscrimination law.” The intent was to discourage diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, and Bondi specifically stated that “unlawful proxies” could jeopardize funding.
Bondi also insisted that universities may not direct funds and other resources to organizations “primarily because of their racial or ethnic composition rather than other legitimate factors.”

During the closing plenaries of the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) in Belém do Pará in the Brazilian Amazon, United Nations Climate Change Executive Secretary Simon Stiell gave a rousing speech. Stiell, from Grenada, came to his post after a long career in the corporate sector and then as his country’s environment and climate resilience minister under the pro-corporate New National Party. In his speech he said that ‘denial, division, and geopolitics [have] dealt international cooperation some heavy blows this year’.

The first United States SEAL Team 6 air strike on a boat allegedly engaged in Venezuelan drug trafficking took place on September 2, 2025. All 11 people on board were killed. The Trump administration gleefully released video of the attack and exulted in its deadly success. Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War, bragged that he watched the air strike live and added, “We knew exactly who was in that boat.”
Now, a U.S. aircraft carrier strike force sits off the coast of Venezuela. Trump has declared Venezuela a “no-fly zone,” and U.S. radar systems have been installed in neighboring Trinidad and Tobago.

Following his earlier threat that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro’s days are numbered, US President Donald Trump announced on social media he was closing Venezuelan airspace. He then immodestly proclaimed the “Trump Corollary” to the Monroe Doctrine, commending his nineteenth century predecessor for presciently envisioning “a superpower unlike anything the world had ever known.”
On December 3, the US State Department followed suit by issuing an updated Venezuela Travel Advisory. The document is a masterpiece of geopolitical creative writing, where the main export of Venezuela is not oil but existential dread.

It has been well over 200 days since the people of the Tulkarem, Nur Shams, and Jenin refugee camps were forced out of their homes by the Israeli army during its offensive in the northern West Bank dubbed “Operation Iron Wall.” Over 40,000 Palestinians from these camps have been displaced for the past eleven months, many of them living in deplorable conditions, and without a clear return to their homes on the horizon.
These thousands of families have been displaced within their own cities, and are totally reliant upon community resources for survival.

The Nazis’ unconditional surrender on May 7, 1945, triggered a bacchanal across the West and parts of the East as millions poured into the streets to celebrate on the following day, singing, dancing, hugging, and famously, kissing. From Winnipeg to Warsaw, and Chicago to Copenhagen to Cape Town, the jubilation expressed on Victory in Europe Day-- or VE Day as it came to be known—represents a singular, unifying moment for the world community.
The Allies’ victory over fascism did not mean, however, that all fascism was banned, just fascism against white people, as the Algerians quickly discovered on the occasion of VE Day.

Despite widespread rejection and ridicule in Western media of Donald Trump’s peace proposal on Ukraine being “dead on arrival” in Moscow, there was Trump’s envoy and his son-in-law discussing the “dead” document for five hours until midnight on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.
Yury Ushakov, Putin’s chief aide on Ukraine, in the official readout, said the two sides discussed several options, including territorial issues, and agreed to continue contacts.
“We did not discuss specific formulations, specific American proposals, but discussed the very essence of what is embedded in these American documents.

US lawmakers filed a resolution on 3 December that would block a US military attack on Venezuela unless it can win congressional approval.
The move, initiated by a group of Democratic and Republican Senators, came in response to repeated statements by US President Donald Trump in recent days claiming that a land invasion of the Latin American nation to combat drug traffickers would begin “very soon.”
The president claims, without evidence, that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro heads a criminal cartel trafficking drugs by boat to the US.

More than 6 million Hondurans went to the polls this past Sunday to elect the country’s next president in a process marked by irregularities, foreign interference, and coup attempts by the far right. Pre-election polls showed a wide lead for the candidate of the ruling Libre party, Rixi Moncada. However, today Honduras marks three days without knowing its president-elect, amid technical failures and an extremely tight count that keeps conservative candidates Nasry Asfura and Salvador Nasralla in a technical tie, in what Moncada describe as an electoral plot.
