Terms Of Surrender: The Conspiracy To Obstruct Justice In Palestine

In the wake of two years of the globally broadcast extermination of the people of Palestine, three distinct tracks of international response have emerged. One is grounded in justice, international law, human rights, and accountability. Two others are dedicated to impunity, the continued subjugation of the victims, and the normalization of the perpetrator regime. In the diplomatic struggle that has ensued, the justice track is under sustained attack. Left to their own devices, most states — the directly complicit and the timid alike — will undoubtedly take the easy way out, opting for impunity and normalization. But a growing people’s movement from across the globe is mobilized to demand justice.

Trump Failed To Pressure Countries To Support Illegal Blockade Of Cuba

A study by the firm Reputation Lab polled people in 60 major countries, and found that the United States has a very bad reputation. The US ranking fell from what was already a low rank of 30 out of 60 in 2024 to an even worse 48th place in 2025. A clear demonstration of the political isolation of the US government can be seen in votes at the United Nations. The vast majority of countries on Earth voted at the UN General Assembly on 29 October to demand an end to the illegal US blockade of Cuba, which has been maintained in blatant violation of international law for more than six decades. 165 countries, representing 85.5% of the UN’s 193 member states, voted in support of a resolution that emphasized the “necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”.

The US And Israel: Tale Of Two Rogue Settler-Colonial States

Over the last two weeks, images of starving Palestinians in a dystopian backdrop of bombed out buildings reflect the horrific reality of a terrain that has experienced the equivalent of six Hiroshima atomic bombs. It is a reminder that the genocide in Gaza continues even as the pathetic zealous characters surrounding the U.S. President spoke of a ceasefire, an end to the assault on Gaza, and Trump as the peace president. That cynical game was finally brought to an end with the unsurprising announcement by Benjamin Netanyahu, the indicted war criminal and Prime Minister of the ethno-supremacist apartheid state of Israel, that Israel will resume the bombing of the occupied Palestinian people.

Trump Met With Popular Protests In South Korea

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in Gyeongju and several other cities in South Korea to oppose US President Donald Trump’s visit to the country on Wednesday, October 29. Protesters in Gyeongju tried to march to the Bomun Tourist Complex, the venue of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. They were stopped nearly five kilometers from the venue by security forces, The Korean Times reported. Despite the security barricade, some of the protesters reached near the summit venue which caused a brief clash with security forces and led to minor injuries. Protesters carried banners and posters denouncing US policies and shouted slogans such as “No King: Trump is not welcome!” and “No APEC!”

Trump’s 2025 Venezuela Escalation Is A Sham For Oil

On October 16, 2025, Donald Trump’s second term ignited a reckless campaign against Venezuela, greenlighting covert CIA operations, deploying 4,000 Marines and F-35 jets to the Caribbean, and launching strikes on Venezuelan vessels that have killed more than 27 people—all framed as a fight against drugs and migration. This is no noble mission: It is a recycled imperial plot to seize the world’s largest oil reserves, draped in fabricated threats. The U.S. narrative paints Nicolás Maduro as the mastermind of gangs like Tren de Aragua (TdA), but the CIA’s history of enabling criminal networks tells a different story.

Trump, Russian Oil And Tomahawk Missiles

U.S. President Donald Trump has seemingly shifted gear in the U.S. strategy to stop Russia on its tracks from creating new facts on the ground in Ukraine. Russian forces have the upper hand all along the 1250-kilometer Ukrainian frontline stretching Kiev’s defences and resources, which no amount of Western military help can hope to reverse in a foreseeable future. Trump is compelling Russia to seek a military victory in Ukraine. Trump so far put on the air of a statesman in great anguish over the humanitarian aspects of the conflict. Moscow tolerated the theatrical show to pamper Trump’s egoistic personality — that is, until Russian President Vladimir Putin shattered the myth to expose that Trump actually holds the record as the American president who sanctioned Russia the most number of times, exceeding even his predecessor Joe Biden’s tally.

Trump Visit Met By Popular Protests In Malaysia Over US Backing Israel

Hundreds of people took to the streets in Malaysia on Sunday, October 26, to oppose US President Donald Trump’s visit to the country. Protesters raised slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance and condemned US support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Protesters also opposed various interventionist policies followed by the US across the globe with chants of “down with imperialism” and demanded Malaysia break its ties with it. The call for the demonstration was made by the Socialist Party of Malaysia (PSM), along with several other organizations who gathered at Kuala Lumpur’s Independence Square and Ampang Park with banners and posters denouncing imperialism and shouting slogans in support of the Palestinian people.

The ‘Donroe Doctrine’: Trump’s Neocolonial Plan For Latin America

The US government has always meddled in Latin America’s internal affairs. This is far from new. The United States overthrew at least 41 governments in Latin America from 1898 to 1994, according to research by Columbia University historian John Coatsworth. In the past three decades, Washington has backed dozens more coups, coup attempts, regime-change operations, and “color revolutions” in the region. The US military has intervened in every single country in Latin America, according to data from the Congressional Research Service. (The only exception is French Guiana, which is a colony of France.) US imperialism has always been bipartisan in Washington, and has continued under both Republican and Democratic presidents.

Why Trump Is Bailing Out Argentina’s Libertarian Leader

The Trump administration is talking about using $40 billion to bail out a foreign country: Argentina. So why is Trump abandoning his so-called “America First” stance to help a foreign leader? And who exactly is Argentina’s president Javier Milei, whose nickname is the “madman”, who calls himself an “anarcho-capitalist”, and who was the inspiration for Elon Musk’s federal cuts — and chainsaw stunts. This is a story that involves election meddling, brutal anti-worker austerity, economic crisis, corrupt corporate payouts, and, of course, crypto scams. Trump has bet a lot on Milei. The right-wing Argentine president is one of Trump’s closest allies on Earth. They have a lot of similarities.

Trump’s Push To Uphold Gaza Ceasefire Is Creating A Political Crisis In Israel

The succession of U.S. officials arriving in Tel Aviv over the week has fueled consternation in Israeli political circles as Washington ups the pressure on Israel to stick to U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza ceasefire plan. Israeli political circles have bristled at having to bend to the American President’s will, as opposition use the opportunity to lambast Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for turning Israel into a “vassal” of the United States. Virtually all of Trump’s inner circle has made the rounds in Tel Aviv throughout the past week, including U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, Vice President JD Vance, and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

How ‘No Kings’ Takes The ‘Move’ Out Of Movements

In his landmark speech delivered to the first Tricontinental Conference of the Peoples of Asia, Africa and Latin America held in Havana in January, 1966, Amilcar Cabral appealed to attendees, “We are not going to use this platform to rail against imperialism. An African saying very common in our country says: "When your house is burning, it’s no use beating the tom-toms.” He continued, "On a Tricontinental level, this means that we are not going to eliminate imperialism by shouting insults against it.” Last weekend a series of events across the United States branded as “No Kings” developed by the 50501 group (vis a vis Indivisible) garnered an estimated seven million attendees.

A Return To The Balfour Declaration

The highly touted picture of “Middle East peace” is quite deceptive. Nobody in the region truly believes that peace is at hand, that there is a credible path to peace, or that the thorny issues of the Arab-Israeli conflict have been resolved. It is not the first time that a U.S. president congratulates himself — and is congratulated by Western and Middle Eastern parties — for reaching a settlement of the conflict. Jimmy Carter was hailed when he presided over the Camp David Accords — it was supposed to end the conflict, but in reality it gave Israel a free hand to attack any combination of Arab countries and the Palestinians because the major Arab military force was neutralized (through bribes to the ruling despot and the military brass).

How Trump Is Building A Violent, Shadowy Federal Police Force

When Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers stormed through Santa Ana, California, in June, panicked calls flooded into the city’s emergency response system. Recordings of those calls, obtained by ProPublica, captured some of the terror residents felt as they watched masked men ambush people and force them into unmarked cars. In some cases, the men wore plain clothes and refused to identify themselves. There was no way to confirm whether they were immigration agents or imposters. In six of the calls to Santa Ana police, residents described what they were seeing as kidnappings.

Trump Threatens To ‘Kill’ Hamas Over Execution Of Israeli-Backed Gangs

US President Donald Trump threatened late Thursday, October 16, that he would endorse a military action against Hamas if it continues to target local gangs hired by Israel in the besieged Gaza strip.  “If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.  Trump’s stern warning was proclaimed, days after he was asked by reporters onboard Air Force One about the executions of who they considered Hamas’ rivals, suggesting they are a sign that Hamas is reestablishing its authority in the besieged Gaza Strip. The answer of the US president then was totally contradictory to his Thursday post on Truth Social, because he confirmed to reporters that the US had given approval to the Palestinian group to do so “for a period of time” to eradicate crimes, and stop problems.

Nobel War Prize

Alfred Nobel’s will spelled out how he wanted to honor those who are accomplished in the fields of medicine, literature, physics, chemistry, and “the person who has done the most or best to advance fellowship among nations, the abolition or reduction of standing armies, and the establishment and promotion of peace congresses.” While Nobel’s wishes would seem to be clear, the Nobel Peace Prize is rarely awarded to anyone who actually works for peace as Nobel described. There are many worthy people and organizations who have carried out good deeds for humanity, but few of the winners have actually been peacemakers.
