US Imperialism

World Leaders Rebel Against United States And Israel

World leaders from roughly 190 countries gathered in September for the general debate of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). This year, many governments condemned the United States and Israel for carrying out crimes against humanity in Gaza. Representatives of numerous countries expressed support for the Palestinian people, while denouncing Western imperialism. A UN commission and multiple UN legal experts have stated conclusively that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. At the 2025 UNGA general debate, it was left-wing leaders from Latin America who led the resistance against the US empire. Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro compared the US government to Nazi Germany and referred to Donald Trump as the “new Hitler”.

The True Face Of The White House Plan: More Money To Kill

The United States announced that it will allocate $1.8 billion to foreign aid projects with a political and strategic vision. According to a document sent to Congress, $400 million will go to Latin America, aimed at confronting the “regimes” of Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Cuba. The Trump administration’s plan seeks to redirect resources toward programs to curb the influence of governments labeled by Washington as “anti-American,” extending its reach to Europe and Greenland in order to “contain China’s advance in strategic sectors.” This narrow and unilateral vision, which prioritizes Washington’s economic and security interests, far from promoting international cooperation based on mutual respect and solidarity, is based on a logic of confrontation that jeopardizes regional and global stability.

Trump ‘Peace Plan’ A Cynical Cover To Continue Palestinian Extermination

The psychopathology of the white supremacist colonial mindset renders colonial policy makers operating within that framework incapable of apprehending reality from the standpoint of the colonized.  The belief in a  Gaza “paradise” for the rich and famous, once Palestinians are paid to leave, or the idea that, after over seven hundred days of a war of extermination, where continued survival is, Palestinians would then surrender, can only be believed by individuals completely afflicted with this psychopathology. Yet, this is Trump’s 20 Point so-called peace plan, released on September 29th with indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu at his side. It is a proposal with a core demand that Palestinian resistance completely surrender to occupation— and certain annihilation.

Mask Off US Empire: War Secretary Tells Military To Commit War Crimes

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth gathered top generals and encouraged the military to commit war crimes and ignore international law. “You kill people and break things for a living”, Hegseth proudly told the military commanders, calling for “maximum lethality”. “We also don’t fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters, to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country”, he added. Meanwhile, Donald Trump ordered the Department of War to use US cities as “training grounds”, to fight the “enemy within”. He bragged about deploying the National Guard to cities like Washington, DC and Los Angeles, California, and said his next targets are Portland, Oregon and Chicago, Illinois.

Venezuela Condemns US Empire’s F-35 Flyover: A ‘Miscalculated Provocation’

Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino has reported this Thursday, October 2, that at least five US F-35 fighter jets have flown over the Caribbean Sea near the Venezuelan border, an action described as a provocation and a threat to national security. Hours later, the Venezuelan Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs released a joint communiqué formally condemning the incursion, which it said occurred approximately 75 kilometers (about 47 miles) off the Venezuelan coast within the Maiquetía Flight Information Region (FIR). “We have detected within the Venezuelan Comprehensive Defense System […] more than five vectors with flight characteristics of 400 knots and flying at an altitude of 35,000 feet,” Padrino said during a briefing. “What does that indicate? They are combat aircraft that US imperialism has dared to bring close to Venezuelan shores.”

Internal Power And External Dependency In The Recognition Of The State Of Palestine

Two years on from Al Aqsa Flood, and its historic significance only deepens. The question of Palestine assuming centre stage at the 2025 UN General Assembly cannot be delinked from the crisis that Al Aqsa Flood has imposed upon zionism and the broader Western world order.[1] The prominence of Palestine at this year’s UNGA is all the more striking given that, just two years earlier, Netanyahu stood before the same body to gloat about the supposed “end” of the Palestinian question and the normalization of zionist relations with Arab states.[2] The Palestinian question at the UNGA centered, most notably, on the recognition of the State of Palestine by several major Western powers.

Hegseth Addresses Top Commanders At Quantico, Puts Focus On Warfighting

Washington, DC — “Good morning, and welcome to the War Department because the era of the Department of Defense is over,” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told hundreds of generals and admirals gathered Tuesday at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. The secretary told the top military brass, summoned on short notice last week, that 10 directives would arrive in the inboxes of commands Tuesday. Some of the initiatives include adding combat field tests for combat arms units, emphasizing “male-level” standards for fitness, and seeing that every member of the joint force — including four-star generals — take a fitness test twice a year and meet height and weight requirements.

‘A Recipe For Igniting West Asia’: Palestinians React To Trump’s Plan

Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza have condemned the “peace plan” introduced by US President Donald Trump on 29 September, calling it “vague” and accusing it of supporting Israeli aims to prolong the genocide in Gaza. “We will not accept any proposal that does not include the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and protection from massacres,” Hamas leader Mahmoud Mardawi declared, adding that Trump's announcement “is an attempt to stifle international momentum and recognition of the Palestinian state.” Qatari and Egyptian officials delivered the US-Israeli plan to Hamas’s negotiating team overnight, according to Al-Jazeera. The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Ziad al-Nakhala, blasted the proposal, calling it "a US-Israeli agreement, reflecting Israel’s full stance.”

Trump Continues US Violation Of UN Charter’s Limits On Use Of Force

In his inflammatory September 23 speech to the United Nations General Assembly, Donald Trump expressed contempt for the UN, falsely claiming he had ended seven wars and stating, “I realized that the United Nations wasn’t there for us. I thought of it really after the fact … that being the case, what is the purpose of the United Nations?” If Trump studied history, he would know the answer to that question. Eighty years ago, after two world wars claimed millions of lives, nations around the world — including the United States — came together and established the UN system “to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war.” The UN Charter requires that all states settle their disputes peacefully and refrain from the use of armed force except in self-defense under Article 51, after an armed attack against a UN state by another state, or when the Security Council authorizes it.

Venezuela Resistance Meeting In New York City Sets A New Tone

A packed Assembly Hall at the prestigious Riverside Church in Manhattan was draped in Venezuelan colors and flags of resistance on Thursday, September 25. The exciting solidarity event with Venezuela resounded with drumming and chants throughout the evening. A well-organized security ensured that the meeting went forth without disruption or interference. The September 25 event was a determined public meeting of forces who refuse to be silent in the face of President Trump’s violent military attacks on Venezuela and threatened repression of left forces in the U.S. The solidarity meeting with the Venezuelan delegation to the United Nations General Assembly High Level Session was the initiative of Dozthor Zurlent of the Simon Bolivar Institute and William Camacaro of Bolivarian Circle in New York.

‘We’re Very Concerned About What The US Is Doing Around Venezuela’

Russia is deeply concerned about what the US is doing around Venezuelan waters, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference on Saturday. “We are certainly very alarmed by what the US has organized now in what are currently international waters, but near Venezuelan territorial waters,” Lavrov said. The foreign minister specified that he spoke with his Venezuelan counterpart, Yván Gil, about the matter the previous day. “The situation is truly serious, because there are significant armed and naval forces there, including a nuclear submarine, and there are direct threats of military intervention to destroy ‘drug cartels’ and wage war on drug trafficking in general,” Lavrov said in reference to the new euphemisms used by the White House to legitimize a military action aiming at regime change in Venezuela.

The Never Ending US Killing Fields Of Somalia

In the remote, arid landscapes of Puntland and the contested central regions of Somalia, the distant hum of a Reaper drone is the sound of a recurring nightmare. It is the herald of an explosion, of anonymous death delivered from the sky, and of a conflict that has been meticulously engineered to be endless. The United States, under the second Trump administration, has not started a new war in Somalia; it has simply intensified a long-standing project of imperial domination, cloaking it in the familiar, tattered rhetoric of counterterrorism. This escalation is not a deviation from U.S. policy but its purest expression: a neo-colonial endeavor designed to keep a nation fractured, dependent, and perpetually in the crosshairs.

President Of Colombia Calls For International Army To Stop Genocide

On Tuesday, Colombian President Gustavo Petro condemned the United States’ extraterritorial policy of war and its active military presence in the Caribbean Sea during his participation in the 80th United Nations General Assembly, held in New York, at the headquarters of the UN. He also called for the formation of an international armed force to stop the Gaza genocide that is being committed by the Zionist entity. At the beginning of his speech on Wednesday, September 24, the Colombian president emphasized that US actions in the Caribbean today are making barbarism a global reality. He added that the US is trying to impose on Latin America what has been happening in Gaza for years, amounting to genocide.

Venezuela To Declare State Of External Unrest

Hours after US President Donald Trump threatened to “blow out of existence” the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro announced Tuesday night that the government is considering a decree that would declare a state of external unrest. The decision was announced during an extraordinary meeting of Venezuela’s Council of State at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas. Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro made the announcement alongside Vice President Delcy Rodriguez, Attorney General Tarek William Saab, President of the Supreme Court of Justice Caryslia Rodriguez, and President of the National Assembly Jorge Rodriguez. This unprecedented Constitutional measure would allow Venezuela to take exceptional actions in the face of a possible military attack by the United States.

White Power

Donald Trump and officials in his administration have dispensed with even the appearance of established niceties in their quest to realize a vision of making white people and his concept of power ascendant throughout this country and the world. White power and brute force are their priorities – and any other considerations and even common sense take a back seat. If farmers who voted for Trump can’t find workers because of his immigration crackdown, so be it. His animus towards undocumented people is so great that he shoved some of his supporters under the bus and into bankruptcy. Lest anyone forget, it was the very conservative Ronald Reagan who enacted an amnesty for undocumented people in order to ensure a plentiful labor force for agriculture and other industries that are dependent upon immigrant labor.
